  1. Sounds like maybe you did not get a good splice we installing the site marker light wiring.
  2. Too much for a 25 year old boat, no matter the condition/
  3. Check all the plumbing hoses on the live wells and the bilge system. Probably have a bad hose with a boat that olds.
  4. I know, I rarely catch anything but dinks in the marina cove and never under a dock.
  5. "Also I never see anyone post about fishing Wyandotte County Lake anymore. If you guys haven't ventured out there then you are missing out on a real treat this year. We've been catching 18 inch smallies with some regularity as well as good largemouth. The grass has turned that lake on which is nice considering over the past 5 years it's been a tough lake to catch anything with size." Hush! Don't spill the beans. I fish Wyco quite a bit and have been catching some nice fish. Only thing that puzzles me is how thin the largemouth are. I catch quite a few 15+ inch fish but they are skinny.
  6. Actually Wyco has been fairly decent this year. I have caught several smallmouth over 2#. And usually at least one LMB at 15 to 16 each time I go.
  7. Yes, they wee a little thin. Several hook marks on lips guess too much exercise.
  8. Got a couple keeper LMB this morning.
  9. Only fill the tank once a year when going into Canadian wilderness. 24 gallon tank and normally only put $20 in at a time and can get 3-4 trips on that.
  10. Could also possibly have debris stuck in the pump housing causing the pump motor to overload.since it cannot turn. Check this first, easy fix if that is the problem.
  11. Morning bite was fair today, nothing really spectacular several 12 - 14 inch small mouth. Did manage one at 1.8#. close to 2#.
  12. I have that Cabela lean seat on a manual adjustable pole and I like it. Easy to swing around adjust pole and sit when I need to.
  13. So what is the problem?
  14. Depends on how the fish want it presented. Sometimes work it like a shaky head other times slow retrieve, or maybe pop it and let it fall kinda like a jerk bait.
  15. Good morning at Wyco today. Got one 3# smallmouth and a couple more that were over 2#. Forgot my phone at home, wasn't wide awake when I left at 5:40 AM so no pics.
  16. Granola bar, maybe some trail mix. Water and a diet Coke for the ride home.
  17. Back on the water Neighbor's BIL has an awesome home shop and is a pipe fitter so has welding an fabrication skills. Welded up break reinforced with 1/4 thick angle iron.
  18. Either one won't matter.
  19. The break is the rear cross member between frame rails. Been trying to find a new X-member but since it is a Javelin trailer and is 15 years old no one has the specs or prints for the trailer. Talked to my neighbor, his BIL is a pipe fitter and has a nice shop at his farm, so hopefully he might be willing to help me out.
  20. Got home from lake and noticed a problem with my trailer. The rear X-member has broken completely apart. Looked inside tube and felt what I could reach with my finger and it does not appear to have excess rust. What do I do to fix this? Really don't want to go through the hassle of setting up another trailer as this one fits my boat really good.
  21. Anyone know why my pics keep posting sideways?
  22. Went to Leavenworth County lake today. Was a good day on the lake. Caught 20 + bass with several more than 15 inches. Super Fluke was bait of the day.
