My flipping and pitching sucks so I really need to do some yard fishing. Guess I won't be the only one.

Government cannot look for a return on investment for recreational facilities. They are just a service provided to the taxpayer. Wyco does, however, charge a healthy fee for fishing permits and boat permits and the taxpayer or user of this lake is not getting anything in return for the fees. If the Unified Government wants to encourage folks to come to the lake hey are gong to have to provide some decent fishing. I disagree that the bucket fishers are keeping the small bass, all I ever see anybody carry away are channel cat or trout.

Question about Lone Star Lake: any permits required for fishing or a boat? Can anyone tell me how to get there from I70 or Clinton dam?

Don't know why I keep going to this lake, other than it is 10 minutes from driveway to ramp. Only managed 2 dinks this morning. Although they were my first fish on a spy bait!!

Nice, I like that lake although the biggest I've pulled out of there would only go 3 1/2.

With that old of an engine you were living on borrowed time on the VRO anyway, but you should have been given the option of disabling and pre mixing. I would ask that the labor portion of the bill be written off and gladly pay for the parts, you did get them.

That's why I don't fish there anymore........d**n dust gets into everything.

Most tire shops will not mount car tires on a trailer. If you take your rims in without the trailer this can be done.

Several years ago I fished a similar tax from another web site where we just measured the fish and used a chart to determine weight. Of course it was on the honor system. The shortest length on the chart was 12". It was fun and good comraderie. Plus $20.00 a boat nobody lost a lot of $$$.

Awesome! I got quite a bit of company stock for my 20, 25, 30, and 40 year anniversaries. If I was to sell it now I could buy a really nice brand new boat. But my 14 year old boat does just fine so I'll hold into the stock. Sounds like a great place to work.

The lake was true to form today..........only managed 3 small mouth that would have to grow quite a bit to be considered dinks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-) :-)

Had a good morning at Wyco. Caught TWO keeper LMB. One 15 1/4 and a 16 inch that weighed 2.3 #. Don't know why pics loaded sideways.
