Generally the same price point... two of the more talked about rods in the 200$ range. Which one would you pick and why?

Hey guys, I am getting a new unit very soon and was looking at the Lowrance 7 HDI and the Lowrance 7x HDI. My question is, is the gps really worth the extra $150? I will be fishing local lakes around the state that I know fairly well, but dont wanna make the wrong choice for gps. So is it worth it? Thanks

I had a tip problem on my SS703C and Dobyns said they would send me a new tip that same day. I am finally going to try a few spools after all the good things I have heard about it. I have heard about the extremely good breakage strength so I have a question. I always drop shot with 8lb test and love it, so should I stick with it or go to 6 because of the strength? Also, I always crank with 12, but should I go to 10 because of the tough breakage strength? No Red Label. I used it and it works great, but the memory after a few days is ridiculous. Go with Invisx for flouro, Sufix Seige for mono, and Yo-Zuri Hybrid for a hybrid line.

No one really prefers the bags Roboworms come in. So my question is, how do you guys store them? Boxes, zip-loc bags, or anything else? Also, when you store them, do you add scent or stick with the salt they come with?

I know if you mix elaztech plastic with normal plastic, it ruins it. But can you scent up the elaztech and soak the bags in scent or will the same thing happen?

I was on the Denali website which I had not visited in a little while so I may be a little behind, but I noticed a new rod. The Denali 5x3 rod. I live Denali rods,so I was wondering how this rod performs, and for $119, how does it compare to the Jadewood or the Kovert?

Daiwa guys. I am getting a new Tatula rod or two. I was looking at cranking rods and will be throwing mostly 1/2 oz cranks and 1/2 oz lipless cranks and something slightly bigger here and there. So would you get the 7' M regular or the 7'2 MH regular? Also, is regular for Daiwa like moderate for other guys? So would the regular make a good crank rod or more of a light jig rod? So which rod would you pick, and what is regular taper like? Thanks

I have the 7'6" Deep Crank Kovert and i love it for its job. I needed a lipless/lighter crank rod and was looking at the 6'10" Crankin rod and was wondering how does it feel for you guys? How is its power rating and how will it handle 1/2 oz lipless cranks and other smaller cranks? Thanks

When you guys use this bait, how heavy of a weight do you use and on a spinning rod or casting?

2 part question here. 1. I fish smallmouth from 10-25 feet mostly, and if you had to pick between the Chigger Craw, and the Rage Craw, what do you prefer and why? 2. For flipping beaver style baits, Pit Boss or R.I. Sweet Beaver?

Hey guys, Im looking to get another lipless crank rod but dont wanna spend the big bucks this time. I already have a reel picked out but I am still selecting a rod. Not trying to break the bank on this one, so I was looking at the Shimano Clarus reaction rod. The reviews seemed good enough and Shimanos warranty is pretty hard to beat, so what can you guys tell me about this rod? Especially if you have one. Always open to other suggestions, but i like the look of this one so just seeing what you can tell me. Thanks
