  1. I have two tournament pros, and love them. I would pick them over my Tatula and Tatula type r any day. Never used a chronarch though.
  2. Thanks for clearing that up. I was looking at 22nd century triple trout swimbaits and 3:16 bluegill freestyle, and those thing sure are expensive. What are some of your guys favorites, and have you used either one Ive mentioned?
  3. Looking into starting to throw swimbaits. My question is, what is the difference between a big hard body swimbait and a glide bait?
  4. Checked tackle trap and they're out of stock. Looks like I'll have to wait. Do they usually restock pretty quickly?
  5. Where do you guys get your Tatula handles? Looking to get a few to replace some 80mm handles.
  6. The KLX is a far superior rod components wise and feel wise, and I'm sure you will hear that from many people, but I have the 6'9 MH F KLX jig rod, and two things to keep in mind are the one year warranty, and the taper is a little bit slow for me.
  7. Favorite- Lipless Crank Least Favorite- Jig (Cant catch a thing on them)
  8. Not to steal the thread, but can any lake be night fished? I live on a deep smallie lake in WA, (Fish in 20~25FOW) and have never heard of anyone fishing this lake at night. Seems the bite always shuts off around 30 mins after sunset, and never stayed any later than that. So can this lake, and any lake for that matter, be fished at night with success?
  9. Bellevue. I fish Lake WA a few times a week and fish lakes all over Washington during the summer.
  10. What lake? I live in WA and could probably help.
  11. I'd really like to see a 4" elaztech stick bait made by either strike king or Zman. Both of them only have a 5".
  12. Absolutely love mine. Casts great, and isnt as temperamental as some other higher end reels. 10/10 for $200.
  13. About to get a Lobina Rico or two, and was wondering what size do I want, the Rio Rico or standard Rico? I will be using it for smallies in super clear water 10-20ft deep. Which one would be better? Thanks
  14. Very surprised to see Lake Washington not on the list. It is my home lake, and I fish it multiple times a week. Especially when Sammamish was on the list the other year, Lake Wa is a much better lake in my opinion. It took a 28lb bag to win a tournament earlier this year.
  15. Definitely MH with those weights in light to moderate cover.
  16. Been out for a while
  17. Just got my first Alphas sv yesterday, and I'm already ordering another. It is one sweet little reel with performance well beyond its price point.
  18. for those of you that have used the new Aldebaran, is it that much better than the old? Looking at a brand new old model for $230, and the new model for $270. Is it worth the extra cost?
  19. All youve gotta do is pay close attention to your bait. Sometimes with a drop shot they will just suck the bait in, and you need to either see your line move away or feel the weight of the fish to know one is even there. Sometimes when you have a slack line or you arent paying super close attention, this can happen. Paying attention to this reduces the number of hook swallows to almost zero, but it can still happen every one in a while. Just a part of fishing.
  20. Anyone know if the Aldebaran will still be $189 when its back in stock on japanlureshop?
  21. Heard a little talk about these reels, and them having the SV shallow spools. Then i Looked them up, and was shocked to see you can get them for around $200 shipped. So my question is, how do they perform? They definitely have my interest. I have a Daiwa PX-R, and I know that is obviously the better reel, but how do they compare? Thanks
