Here in north FL I don't catch pickerel just bass. Back when I lived in NJ pickerel use to tear up my lures lol idk if I miss that aspect but I use to catch some giants that would mimic pike.

ESPN isn't going to do anything that they will not make a profit on. There is not big enough interest in watching fishing so ESPN wouldn't dedicate a channel for that. Besides most fishermen, atleast I feel this way, would rather be on the water fishing than watching it on TV

Those are some nice fish great outing. Ever used z-man baits so can't comment on the hooks but like Grizz said I'd try sharpening them.
