  1. It's not that weird but my Live Target Field Mouse. I never really thought that a mouse would work bass fishing but it definitely does.
  2. Tackl3 Warehouse is my favorite site to order from I take advantage of their cheap 2-day/ 1-day shipping because my orders are always over $50, I wish all sites did that
  3. FROG FROG FROG! I have been using multiple types of frogs this summer, last year I was strictly Stanley Top Toads. This year I have used the booyah pad crashers, booyah poppin pad crashers, live target frog, lunk3rhunt LUNKER frog, Stanley ribbits, zoom horny toads, Damiki air frog, river 2 sea spittin wa, and culprit frogs. Out of all the frogs the lunk3rhunt LUNKER frog has produced for me the biggest fish in all types of water. The Booyah Poppin Pad Crasher has produced the most for me in spots with thick vegetation.
  4. I would go with a hollow body frog and a KVD 1.5 squarebill crank bait.
  5. Very nice spot man
  6. I keep mine really simply, not sure the exact box sizes but, in the lower front compartment I have a double sided frog box. Then I have another of the same box but I have a few cranks, pop'r, KVD red eye shad, chatterbait, jig, spinnerbait. I have a hook box, and another small box with a hudd weedless shad, spook jr, and few other baits. I carry pliers, tape measure, scale, and my head lamp (for night fishing) in the two side pockets. Then the top front zipper I keep some more hooks, small box for weights, and my gopro camera batteries and sum cards. Back big zipper is where I keep my bags of soft plastics. On the front it has a glasses case so I keep mine in there. I have the spiderwire tackle backpack it's worth the price tag. Also has two rod holders which is very convenient I usually take boxes and bag of soft plastics out at spots where they won't/ can't be used to make the backpack lighter
  7. When I was just a spinning reel guy I threw everything on it. Frogs, buzzbaits, pop'r, walk the dog baits. Buddy of mine won't convert to a baitcast and he exclusivly uses spinning gear and he throws everything under the sun. Convert to a baitcast is my advise
  8. I will never by Stren 10lb mono ever again. Haven't spooled the Trilene XL I have yet but going to try that 12lb instead.
  9. Spend the $68 and get it!! They are worth the whole $160 they cost normally.
  10. Heck of a reel man! Best reel you will own trust me and especially for $30 lol I started off with the Smoke 25 spinning reel got that for $160, I wish I got mine for $30 and that mismarked price tag is what some employees do my buddy found 2 g loomis rods at DSG one was marked $100 and the other was $30. Then I found a guy selling his Smoke spinning reel with an Abu Garcia Veritas for $100. My Quantum Smoke Inshore baitcast reel $220 is my favorite frog reel! Quantum sold me on the smoke series can't wait for the new ones later this year!

Nice bass! 8+ lbs is a good fish regardless where you reside at!
  12. Yea not sure how far I can venture away from the airport, I'd appreciate that
  13. I'm flying out of Ft Lauderdale to Jamaica on August 14th and I come back the 26th. Both days I am going to spend fishing before my flight, I leave in the afternoon and return in the morning. Are there any spots around the airport that people can put me on so I can catch my first Peacock? I'm from Jacksonville we don't have them up here I wish we did! Thanks for any info and private messages.
  14. Congrats on the new PB
  15. Frog heaven nice fish great looking spot!
  16. 4/0 Stanley Ribbit Double Take hooks have a better hook up ratio IMO than other hooks for the horny toad. I don't fish flukes so I can't be of any help with that one

As far as reels go I'm looking forward to the new quantum smoke reels. Lures I am looking forward to the Sebile's Pivot Frog, cuz I am a big frog guy, and I am looking forward to the new soft body crank bait, thing is going to be a problem if it's done right. Not sure the name of the company who is releasing it but I bet one of the bigger companies will buy them out, I hope it's Strike King love their crankbaits and colors they offer.
  18. 8.1 on a lunk3rhunt LUNKER frog in green tea
  19. If it's not too heavy then it's never too much. I'm a bank guy that's the motto I fish by
  20. Man I hate getting skunked in the summer because of the heat!! Lol atleast if I catch a fish it's worth it dealing with the heat it's that much worse when I don't catch fish and always seem like it's hotter than it is when skunked
  21. Baby brush hog or a swimming senko (I cut them to make em smaller)
  22. Never lost a rod before but my girlfriend left one at a spot for a few hours and then we had to back track and finally found it at the last pond. It was a Pflueger Patriarch spinning reel with a St. Croix mojo bass 7' rod. We left the spot went to the mall, got something to eat, then were heading back to our side of town to hit ponds by us. We get there and noticed there was 2 rods not 3. Thank god it was sitting there right next to the water when we walked up. Grass was kind of high so I don't think if someone was walking by they would have noticed it unless they were by the water.
  23. Yea mine is pretty light I just carry what I need and leave the rest in my trunk of my car, I have a mini tackle shop back there lol. I love this backpack though only wish it had a water bottle holder like my old academy tackle backpack had, but I just stick the water bottle on the cooler spot and it does it's job.
