My buddy caught this 7lb 9oz on a red eye Shad yesterday afternoon

Me and my girlfriend fish go fishing together atleast once a week. During the real hot days in summer she didn't want to go out as much but she ABSOLUTLY loves fishing. Only problem is that she seems to love to lose my lures, the good ones too, that's our only problem lol

For me it's hard to switch up/move on. I tend to fish areas where I have caught big fish or someone I know has and also tend to stick with the baits that have been proven to catch them. For instance I fish this spot LOADED with massive FL double digit bass! I am not a lipless crankbait guy but I have been throwing it the past few weeks at this spot. There is this 10yd area where there have been 3 double digit bass caught all within a couple months (and this lake is massive so there has to be something to that area). There was an 11.1, 11.8, and a fish this guys girlfriend caught that made my buddy's confirmed 14lber look small! So when I fish this lake I fish that atea almost exclusivly, haven't caught my double digit yet though lol

I have 2 of the live target mice and they work really well. Sometimes when I am not getting bit on the frog and I throw the mouse I will get strikes.aybe it because they are seeing something different who knows. But I don't have problems with it filling up with water. It's a great walking bait, and a lot of my catches come along the bank line or ontop of grass

For my smaller jigs/chatterbaits I use small trailers like Rage Tail Baby Craw, Zoom Uvibe speed Craws. For my bigger jigs I use swim senkos, rage Craws, and zoom speed Craws (I use other trailers but those are my 3 most used)

Some of my frogs I have are Lunk3rhunt LUNKER frog, Booyah Poppin pad Crasher, Booyah pad Crasher, livetarget frog, River2Sea Spittin WA, stanley ribbits, stanley top toad, rage toad, zoom horny toad, culprit frogs, that's all I can think of right now! Find you a favorite frog and SET THOSE HOOKS! (Mine lunk3rhunt LUNKER frog, Booyah poppin pad Crasher, Stanley Top Toad)

Nothing other than fishing poles & tackle. I am collecting a bunch of fishing company stickers for my table in my eventual man cave that will display my monster bluegill (waiting on my replica to be complete) and my other double digit bass (when I catch them) will be on display as well. Saw a few really cool bass mail boxes, my girl would never let me get one lol

8lbs 1oz Caught on a LH LUNKER frog RELEASED... (With some many good replica makers out there all trophy fish should be released... Just remember to take good pics and get accurate measurements) only way I would keep a trophy fish is if it died on me while trying to release it (I'm sure others feel this way)

Ive been fishing from boats lately and going to be fishing tourneys as a co angler so this year I will be buying more deep diving crank baits and jerk baits. Being a bank guy never needed both but now I am branching into that field

My waterloo Salinity spinning rod is ultra sensitive it's $170 but I am sure you can break the bank and get something a lot more sensitive, I can only go by my experience

My girlfriends favorite lures to use are frogs, crankbaits, swim baits, and now her favorite lure is the chatterbait (she says she likes the way it feels) she picked up 4 of the mini ones last night at Dicks

Was there last night didn't realize all lure were on sale I bout a bunch of jigs they had onsale and some trailers got to checkout and thought she forgot to scan some items lol. Looked at recipes and realized it was buy 1 get one 50%! Tried to go back in but my girlfriend would let me we went to dinner and a movie. I am sneaking back this afternoon to go buy more things lol
