  1. I figured people would think bass when they saw PB but I have a feeling my PB bass will come from this spot sooner or later with Shad out there this big Hope I get her before Stick Marsh so I can qualify to hang with the big boys
  2. It's that time of year and bass here in FL are feeding up on baitfish. Well can you imagine the size of the bass in this spot where I snagged this baitfish. Definitely a PB (and I have never even caught a Shad for that matter), unless I am Dottie disqualified.
  3. Awesome fish congrats on the new PB
  4. I caught this bass on a Xcalibur xr50 lipless crankbait. Saw it blow up on baitfish on the other side and casted towards that. I didn't hit where I wanted it to go, nowhere even close actually lol. Then I just feel the slam and it was on. Managed to keep her from jumping multiple times. I have caught a bunch of ones this size and a lot bigger, below is probably why. Then the following day I was fishing same spot but different area and caught this. Not a snag too it took it like a bass would lol. By far the biggest bluegill that I have ever caught and I don't even fish for bluegill. I live in FL and have only caught 3 bluegill since I have lived in FL. This was my previous biggest (not caught at this spot but caught on a 6" senko back in the summer same thing hooked like a bass) and I thought that was big (and was told by bluegillers that was a monster gill) until I caught the purple one, thing was fat and like holding a frisbee. Now my question is what is the purple bluegill? People on my Facebook and the guy who I was thinking about making my replica said a Coppernose which resembles some pics I have seen, any help?
  5. I wish we had trout to feed the bass here in Jacksonville, FL. I see the Cali guys on my Facebook and Instagram slaying big bass left and right all on swimbaits. I think it will increase the number of big bass and make the big one more prone to strike since the size of the prey will be generally smaller.
  6. Not included in pic are 2 red eye shads and 3 Hudd swimbaits Got an early Christmas present
  7. Spider Wire Tackle Backpack. Has 2 Rod holders and tons of room for everything. Got it at Dicks Sporting Goods
  8. So I want to go with a bigger rod and a 5+:1 gear ratio reel for throwing a rigs. What else can I throw on that ratio reel? All mine are 7s
  9. my order that was suppose to be here today but got delayed consists of 2 Red Eye Shads, 3 Hudd Swimbaits, 1 Live Target baitball jerkbait, 1 Live Target baitball lipless crank. Over the holidays I should be getting $400 in gift cards can't wait for that!
  10. Man those are some Pigs Dwight! Congrats on that 11+
  11. In my little fishing circle we consider anything under 3lbs a dink. We have some amazing fisheries up here in North FL. 4-5s are regular and the past few weeks we've been getting those 8lbers its been atleast 1 a week for past month or so by the 4 of us. (Bank Fishing) When I fish with boaters, tournament guys, and i complain about these 1-2lb fish they tell me to "tighten up boy that's a tournament keeper right there" lol.
  12. Yea I have one and love it. Even keeps your drink cold for a good portion of a hot FL day
  13. Spider wire backpack u can get them online and Dicks Sporting Goods has them too. It's perfect has glasses holder, two side zipper pockets, space for tackle boxes, space for bags of soft plastics, another space where you can put things. Has 2 Rod holders one on each side. Perfect bag Go check it out
  14. This is definitely on the bucket list. Nice pics as usual whenever I see a post from Baccarac
  15. 1.) congrats on the PB and very bery nice fish 2.) you have a very nice boat 3.) nice to see footage of the release GREAT POST!!
  16. Congrats on that toad man!
  17. Nice bass I didn't read any responses but if you use a chatterbait with some type of paddle tail swimbait it works real good. I like the Havoc 3.5" ones I forget the actual name of the bait but it's a swimbaits with a paddle tail. Bass here in North FL are tearing them up
  18. The only lures are the lures that I have not bought. I have caught a fish on every lure I have (not color obviously but style frog, lipless, chatterbait, etc). I am the type to only buy what works for me. Obviously I haven't caught a fish on every soft plastic I have because I use about 15% of what I have.
  19. Yea I will upload them to my computer so you guys can see what I am talking about. I will post the fish from the one spot and others same size from different spots
  20. I was going through my pics on my phone and noticed something about the fish that a buddy and I have caught out of this one spot. We have caught fish out of there from 4-9lbs and all of them have small mouths compared to similar fish caught out of different spots. Does anyone know why this is? I would just go with genetics but didn't know if there was more to it.
  21. Awesome year man! Congrats on the best catch your baby boy
  22. In my area yes yes it does
  23. That's Southern fishing right there love it down here
  24. Have some nice fish there man! Me and 3 buddies from Jacksonville are going to plan a trip down south to chase some Peas, I can't wait for that
