  1. My local dicks had Live Target Frogs for $5.99
  2. Hollow body frog through thick vegetation, grass, pads, slop, I like to call it through "The Salad Bar" Hollow body frog in the Salad Bar
  3. Congrats on your first frog fish! Frog fishing is one of if not the most exciting way to fish. You are going to witness so many remarkable blow ups. My advice is always be focused because you can go for hours and hours without a strike and then the second you lose focus that big girl is gonna want a ride on your line and you will miss her because you weren't focused. Good luck when you gain more confidence there are tons of other brands and types of frogs to choose from
  4. KVD 1.5 & 2.5... Starting using the Storm Arashi and I like them as well they have a wider wobbling action than the KVDs
  5. Thanks for the info How does the HAWG tech work I have tro but the parts I want or I can send out my reels?
  6. I am looking for a little help... I want to customize my baitcasters with a custom paint job on some of the parts. I have an Abu Garcia STX, an Abu Garcia SX, and a Quantum Smoke (on the way for delivery). Was wondering what type of paint I should use to paint the spool, star wheel, brake knob, and handle knob caps. For my SX I want to match the metallic red that's already on it and for the Smoke I want a metallic green or blue. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance
  7. Same here man best tool ever
  8. Best tool IMO I stumbled across this at a bait shop while I was looking for scissors to cut braid and I ABSOLUTLY love this tool! Keep one clipped on my spider wire backpack at all times and keep one in my car and clip it to my belt loop
  9. Nice pic my sons not old enough yet but he carries around his sponge bob rod. He will be 2 in June and he loves Spider-Man so I have a feeling I will e getting a similar Spider-man pole in the future
  10. I've heard these rumors too but he still has to catch the fish regardless if he's fishing a private stocked lake with giants. I like watching his shows when I was younger but now I am more into other fishing shows on the Outdoor Channel like Zona, MLF, Bassmaster shows, Facts of Fishing, and others. If I happen to be home and I see Bill Dance on I will tune in when nothing else is on
  11. Man that's a HAWG nice catch
  12. Those are the moments that we will remember and cherish as fathers, and he will remember/cherish as a child. I can't wait tilt sons old enough!
  13. Last lure I can remember losing was a few days ago I cast my *** frog into a tree, the wind took it and it did the dreaded wrap around multiple times. Other than that I just lose plastics which comes with the territory. I hate when I am using a new 6" senko and catch a dink and lose my senko, it's ticks me off what a waste
  14. Mine is fine with my fishing addiction. We lived in NJ before we moved to FL and it was only a 40 min drive, doing the speed limit, to Atlantic City. So me and few of my boys were there atleast 3 times a week. She much rather me be doing what I am doing now instead of hanging around the casinos living the fast life so to speak. But have to thank Atlantic City because I got extremely lucky a bunch of times and that has allowed me not to have to worry about the bait monkey lol. I'm actually going back to NJ to visit friends & family in a few weeks but I am staying away from the casino and going to head to North Jersey to do some fishing with a BR member. Want to target some smallmouth bass since I can't fish for them here in FL hope to get some
  15. Funny I ordered 2 from TW a while back, then academy had an online sale and they were $4.99 so I picked up 4 more, then one day I was in Walmart and my 2yr old son picked one off the rack and said Ribbit Ribbit, lol, so I bought it. Glad walmart carries them I haven't seen them at any of my local tackle shops yet
  16. I have them only really fished them 2 or 3 times, frog season for me just started and it's only at certain spots. The action on mine are fine and I have had some results. The bigger the fish I would imagine could tear up the legs bits that's with any lure, I have had fish destroy my frogs hooks on my Stanley's and on my booyah. These frogs work best in open water and by pads not so much in thick vegetation IMO. I have had all my luck in open water/pads. You need to practice the retrieve and you will get the action of the legs down right. Best color for me is the brownish one, I forget the actual name but it's brown, yellow, black.
  17. Nice fish Jitter! Do you use a trailer for your chatterbaits? What color KVD is that can barely tell that fish inhaled it lol
  18. Stanley Ribbit frogs, hollow body frog, rebel pop'r, buzzbaits
  19. Good question about the site. I have always wondered how many pros have yet to cross the double digit mark. I know Scott Martins PB is over 13 saw a video of him pulling one close to 14 out of a mat. Deans another angler that I know has pulled in a few double digit bass with his bass single day record he set with 45+ I believe it was he had two 10+ that day a 9,8,7 pretty cool
  20. One afternoon me and my buddy were fishing the bank and came across a crawfish and a frog. I put the crawfish on a hook an he put the frog on his. Fished em for about 20 mins and nothing. We were packing it in I threw the crawfish in the water and then he threw his frog in the water and almost instantly something blew up on the frog, go figure.
  21. I would prob be the same way on some days gotta think if they are affiliated with MLF they must enjoy fishing so to watch a guy fish all day must be frustrating that you can't wet your line as well lol. And I am sure the angler wants to focus so he doesn't want you to be asking questions and picking his brain all day, gotta respect the angler, eventhough I'm sure some anglers are a lot more pleasant to be around than others
  22. Manns Jelly Worm (12") and Yum Mightee Worms (10.5")
