  1. The storms are good I use them I have the bluegill and rusty craw. They run a little deeper than the 1.5s and they have a wider wobbling action. I like them a lot only problem is I wish they offered some better colors that's why I love my KVD 1.5/2.5 they have a bunch of very good colors.
  2. Mannnnnnn I'm a frog-a-holic I dream of a situation like that almost nightly! The guy is way too calm though lol
  3. Very very nice fish
  4. Nice fish and pic
  5. There are "fanboys" out there all over that will either over hype or over hate brands. I have 3 Abu Garcia Reels (Silvermax & Revo STX baitcasts, and Orra spinning) heard a bunch of fanboys knocking Abu. I have 2 Quantum Smoke spinning reels (25 & 30) head a bunch of fanboys knocking Quantum. And I have a Pflueger Patriarch spinning reel. I ABSOLUTLY love my smoke reels hence why I have 2, got the 30 for a steal with a Abu Garcia Veritas rod (heard bad things from fanboys too about this rod lol I love it too). I plan on getting the smoke baitcast reel when I master it more... I am starting with the Silvermax to get the hang of it right now and then the STX when the frog bite turns back on! But like I said I am a huge fan of the Quantum reels especially the Smoke series.
  6. Ima call you the boogey man with all these nice bed fish!
  7. I can understand checking your fishing equipment and even your vehicle for coolers which may contain fish. But other than that I can't see how they can search your vehicle like a police officer would.
  8. Here we go again lol
  9. I love the KVD Squarebill Crankbaits (I mainly use the 1.5s but the 1.0, mimick smaller bait fish, and the 2.5s, mimick big baitfish, and the 1.5 is the perfect median IMO). Then run about 2-5ft but will go deeper depending on which model and rod position Id say you can get them to 8ft,. They are very good and not that expensive around $5-$6 per. You can fish them through heavy cover they are a very versitle reaction bait that covers a lot of water. As far as colors I tend to try to match the colors of baitfish that I have in that particular fishery. I just started using River 2 Sea crank baits and Storm Arashi cranks (silent ones they have rattling as well, forgot to mention the KVDs have a rattling version as well but I only have 2 out of the 17 or so KVDs that I have). So far I like the Arashi they are similar to the KVDs just have a wider wobbling action, they need to offer some more colors but that may come in time. Rapala shad raps and scatter raps are good as well. They have shallow running and deep running as well, good action and you will catch some good quality fish. Check those out I am a huge crank bait guy, second only to FROGGIN!!!
  10. That bass looks like it is half the size of your brother lol, great fish!!
  11. I just hope for some top water action this weekend! Going out for the first time in a long time with my girlfriend and she gets so excited catching bass on topwater.
  12. Nope the ones I have are silent I guess they are new
  13. Man I am guilty of doing this lol. I also tend to stay in the same area at spots that I usually fish often instead of covering ground. Just cuz the fish were there one day doesn't mean they will be there the next. That's why I enjoy fishing from my buddy's boat because we cover everything.
  14. KVD 1.5s, Shad Raps, and just starting using the Storm Arashi
  15. Very nice trip nice fish
  16. Nice video like guy above me I like how you put the pics of the baits in the vid
  17. I am 27 so I am a littl younger but I remember seeing "the man with the orange T Hat" lol. I use to watch Bill Dance Saturday mornings and then go out with my friends and catch bass, sunnies, frogs, turtles, and when we saw them snakes (this was back in NJ)
  18. Id imagine going out on a boat with an adult film star would be pretty interesting lol if my wife/girlfriend wouldn't find out lol jk
  19. I got my magazine in the mail today and just read the article very interesting. I think it can be done with the right conditions and most importantly the right fish.
  20. Squarebill: KVD 1.5 & Storm Arashi Lipless: KVD red eye shad Top Water: (since my frogs are soft) rebel pop'r Jerkbait: don't throw them much have a Strike King KVD one I think
  21. I have two of them the black and red (I think it's called coot) and the black and blue (forget official color name). Very versatile frog can fish it numerous ways
  22. I was surprised to see Manasquan Resivour,NJ on the list I use to live by there and fish it all the time. They had a baitshop were they had a small selection of lures and they had shiners and night crawlers. They have two boat ramps and boat docks where you can rent jon boats for a half or full day. There was basically every type of cover/environment to fish out there it was awesome. I would definitely reccomend this place to anyone in NJ or the NJ area. Tons of species of fish in there largemouth, smallmouth, pickerel, pike, Muskie, hybrid stripe bass, bluegill/sunnies, catfish, and that's what I remember off the top of my head. Amazing fishery haven't been there in about 3.5years and have been in FL for little over 2. When I go back to NJ to visit I am definitely going to stop there again.
  23. MAN YOU ARE FROM UP NORTH PUTTING ALL OF US FL GUYS TO SHAME LOL Trip of a lifetime, and who said you need to pay $3000+ to go to Lake Baccarac to catch big fish lol
  24. That would have made for a hell of a video/picture lol
