There are those that drink beer because they like it, and can do so in moderation. Never had a hangover from 2-3 beers. You obviously like root beer, ever tried Birch Beer?

To me it seems a little more hoppy than years past, but I still like it.

I prefer the bigger handles as well, mainly because I have a huge hand. All my reels, except my shimano's, have BPS power handles which are a very cheap but very nice upgrade.

The 3"-4" they predicted here turned into a dusting. As little snow as they were predicting, people still went crazy! Wife went to the store to get some english muffins and medicine for the sick kids last night and the place was CLEANED OUT.

Been out since Halloween. Found out the day after Halloween when I tried to get some Bob's and they were out of it. I've had two 6 packs so far.

The carbonlite is a very good rod. As was said above you should also check out the extreme rods. They go on sale for $69 every year and are good quality rods.

DVT..... could this be an issue with the Sahara FD as well? I have several of these reels and I've experienced the binding when wet that you mentioned.

You're partially right about the "cheap" ownership. The last year Mr. Kauffman had the team was 1993, he passed in May, and we had the highest payroll in the majors that year. Since then it has been a franchise that has skimped wherever it could. We had a payroll in the teens one year. Since the Glass family took over as owners the payroll has steadily climbed. They have taken a lot of grief over the years, and I can't blame those that criticize them, but in the last few years they've done what is needed to put a quality team on the field. As for them not paying their younger players when it becomes time, you could be right, but the culture has changed around here. Dayton Moore has been reloading the farm system every year with not only quality draft picks, but also international signings. I see things staying about the same for a while as long as DM and the current management are in place. And most of the players you mentioned were traded away or allowed to enter free agency, most of which did nothing to help the franchise. The Beltran deal was probably the worst. The one that actually worked out in our favor was the Greinke trade. We received 4 players in that trade, two of which are our starting shortstop and center fielder. That trade was the first major deal that DM made and I'd have to say it worked out pretty well.

And we can also talk about the can't-miss prospects that did just that..... Colt Griffin, Jeff Granger, Mark Quinn... I could go on and on. It's nice to see some of our big prospects finally performing at the level we all thought they would.

Not to mention some of the "customers" that I saw fishing it that one day. Or the van load of people parked at the end of the dam with their kids running all over the place like it was a city park.

It is a 1 year warranty. Luckily I haven't had to exchange any of mine, and I've got 4 of them that get a lot of use. The only issue I've had was my own fault, I stumbled in the boat and stepped on the butt section. Ripped part of the EVA on the handle off which I had to superglue back on.
