For those of you who have buried hooks in your hand...
Yea that's how you do it. A guy named Glenn Cumings once did a demonstration on how to do that. There was this other video that made the front page on Break. A guy had a fishing hook buried into him and the captain of the boat did a fine job removing the hook using that technique. Then all the ignorant people came and would flame saying that is wrong and the right way is to pull the hook through the skin cut the barb off then you can just take it out. Well whats better 2 holes in your hand or just one? I can't believe people think that is how you get a hook removed. Reckon some people were even saying the way you rip the hook out in the technique posted by the OP is more dangerous too! ;D

How careful do I need to be around lead?
Thanks for the responses. With the label saying "known to cause birth defects" I do believe it is worth my time to find out about the stuff.

Maryland's Who's who!
Wouldn't Black Hills and Seneca be the same lake

How careful do I need to be around lead?
Today got me thinking. How careful should I be around lead. I keep all my fishing equipment in my bedroom. A lot of it containing lead weights. I keep them in containers except for the few that don't have homes. I'm sleeping right next to this stuff practically. I don't know to much about lead but can't the poisons move through the air? If lead paint caused poisoning in some people I'm sure a whole bunch of lead weights sure could.

Maryland's Who's who!
Little Seneca is a great lake. There is a stump field that I really like but I loose a lot of my lures in there. There is also Clopper Lake close by which is also good I just don't fish it enough to know it well enough.

Parkour / Free Running
David Belle is an incredible man. I used to condition my self for parkour but I finally realized that my body is to big for that and took up weight training instead. Better use of my body. In Before "these guys are idiots" They are not idiots. There are two kind of traceurs. Treaceurs (The name for someone who practices parkour) who go through physical training to condition their body to be able to do this kind of stuff and learn what they are doing before they do it. Then there are reckless jumpers who are normally very young kinds that saw one video of parkour and think they are pro's at it. It's the reckless jumpers that are idiots not the treaceurs.

canal fishing
I love to cast wacky rigged senkos underneath trees that are leaning over the water that are producing some kind of shade. Always get hits under there.

2009 fishing license
my dad bought my license online when I was at school and he said that they charged a convenience fee for getting it online... That sucks.

store bought food for bluegill/sunfish
Starting in the spring start a compost pile and you won't have to pay for food. I recommend composting with solider fly larvae, very nutritious for your bluegill, carry no diseases, and you can sell what ever you don't use. For store bought food you can always pick up canned tuna like Dave suggested. Just rinse it well to get off the sodium.

Walmart Fishing Lures On Clearance
My walmart did not have to much on Clearance. Only specific colors of lures were on clearance so that sucked The best deal I got was Powerbait shaky worms for $1.50 a pack. I picked up two of those.

National Geographic - Hooked on Bass
I thought it was great! The only thing is that I felt as they kind of kept repeating the same stuff over and over again. Other then that I loved the few underwater shots they had. Was really neat.

LETHAL

Have you ever had a run in with a Anti-Fishermen
Well I was fishing with this other dude once and we went into a store to get some food. We wore our fishing vets, and carried in the poles we had. There were two teenage girls sitting on the porch of the store who says "You know you could of picked a better sport" so I quickly replied "You're right but deer hunting season is not open" And we just went into the store and got our food.

Rod Dilemma
Thanks for all of the wonderful replies gus I think I might just have to build what islandbass has. Seriously dude, that thing is frigging sweet! You could make money off that! I kind of like what Matmm is saying. Pick 3 rods that will be able to handle just about everything.
