Good news that it is open, planning on making a milk run to BPS and F&S sometime in the near future. Gander Mountain is the only thing in the Flint area.

As of right now, those of us in Michigan have to wait until the Bass season opens. Which is currently at the end of April. The DNR commision will hopefully be changing that to a year round catch and release with harvesting beginning at the end of May

My backpack has 23lbs of stuff in it, that's downsized from 26lbs. I have two more backpacks full of plastics, one with plastic stick baits, and one with other types of plastic. One 3700 plano filled with terminal tackle. Realistically this should last me for quite some time, but the new Field and Stream grand opening is on the 26th, I'm gonna buy some more plastic, I just know it.

That's the best thing about interchangeable skirts, they work on just about everything that has a skirt. Hand ties may be one of the exceptions.

I'm doing the same thing this year. I purchased the rage grub and menace. Green pumpkin and bluegill for both.

Stick baits(mainly Senkos) at least 95% of the time last year, I had so much confidence in them that I would not throw anything else. I have vowed to throw more worms and jigs this year, along with swim jigs and spinnerbaits. We will see how well that plan works out.

We still have to wait until the end of April to bass fish, unless they change the season. The new fishing guide seems to indicate that a new bass season will be announced around April 1st. We can only hope so.

I don't know exactly when to throw the different trailers yet. Swim jigs are on my to learn list this year. Bought rage grubs and menace for starters. Watched a Matt Allen video on swim jigs and ordered some grass pigs, shockwaves and reel screamers. We will see what happens.
