Yepper. My BP didnt have that color though.

I bought the 3 different ones they had at my local BP. Hoping to get to use them today. I had to add a snap ring to two of them, but the other suspended perfectly. And those d**n hooks are sharp!!!!!

Even guys that have won 2 or more break down and tear up some. I've met guys that have just lost a child in a horrible way and won't shed a tear or show a bit of emotion. Some people are better than me. Heck, I win a free ticket in a scratch off, I get as giddy as a schoolgirl lol

Should be able to. I called and talked with Mgr yesterday. I have a cheap walmart Zebco spinning combo. It looks great and works. That's all they care about. He said they have elcheapo rods and reels for 5-6 bucks at the front you can buy, get BP points for, and trade them in. I'm looking for a 6'8"-7' medium moderate rod for jerkbaits and top waters. Kinda keeping my fingers crossed for a 7' Veritas Winch if I can find one that hasn't been stuck in the garbage disposal first.

Ike is that guy that always gets caught doing stupid stuff. He makes for great TV. Sometimes watching a dude fish is boring as hell. Waiting for someone to flip out, go 10-8 on a dog or jump out of his boat after a giant smallie makes it worth while

That's a hellova good deal right there!! Mine still thinks worms are icky! Her idea of being outside is on a beach. As for bearing count. I don't put any stock in bearing count. I've got reels with 5 and reels with 11. My two Curado's have 5 and will outcast anything in my arsenal. Most of the time by 20 feet or more. My Revo 3rd Gen S has 8 and next to the MGX I played with, is the smoothest feeling reel I've ever used.

I've never heard of an over lubed reel with a rough feeling. Something may be out of place or a defect. They will gladly exchange it.

The E5 slower the better. My spinnerbait set up I use a slow 4,7:1 Pro Qualifier. But for cranks you want something a bit faster like the 5.

They were new old stock. The boxes had the factory sticker over the closure so they were not displays. The line guide travels to both sides fine. It kinda spends more time at the sides of the spool than the center if that makes since. Spool is centered. I have the cast control knob backed off just enough to take the side to side play out. All the components under the cast control are installed correctly and present. Ya I re spooled several times. Line looked centered to me. Reel was attached to the rod and line was in the center of the rod like normal.

About 6 months ago I bought the last two Gen 2 Revo STX's from Academy. I have used one as my primary jig reel and the other was a back up. Both were NIB. I decided to make my back up a jerk bait reel and spooled it up. I backed it with mono and filled it up with about 70 yards of braid. For the life of me, I cannot get it to lay level. The center of the spool is cupped down with the sides being taller. Usually it's the other way around. I was using spiderwire invisi braid in 30#. Switched it over to 832 in 50# and 30# with the same results. I bet I have pulled the line off and tried again 6 times with no luck. Everything seems to be fine with the reel. My other STX, S, 2 Curado's and PQ all lay perfect. Any tips?

I called both BP's in my state and they are all still 99.99 except for the 7'11" which is 119.99. If they are BP does add match and their website prices are still 99.99

If you wait till the 1st the rod trade in sale begins. Any good quality 6-7 foot medium fast will be great for that. I fling weightless flukes with a 7' medium fast and it does perfect
