I have the same in Watermelon seed with green flake. I have tried them on a jig with no luck. I even tried them in the brush and weeds Texas rigged with a 1/2oz weight with no luck. I did get a few fish, nothing major, by fishing it weightless Texas rigged off the top.

Thanks for the input. My first order from you guys was more of the same that have work for me around Kansas lakes in the past. My 2nd order should fit the dirty Oklahoma waters now.

I bit the bullet and placed a good size order of jigs from North Star. 3 days later I bought a lot of approx 20 from the flea market here. Getting ready to place another order from North Star next week I think I need professional help! How many is too many?

I know. It was sweet. I was kinda down though. I really wanted that bugger.

I took my son fishing yesterday evening as we had some cooler temps and lots of cloud cover. He ended up catchin the only fish, a 11" small LM on a 5" Senko in JJ's. Anyway I was running a black/chartreuse jig with a watermelon seed trailer. Not one single bite. On one of my casts I had just brought the jig out of the water and had a good size LM jump out of the water about 4" to try and grab the jig. He ended up hitting the craw but missed the hook. Tried for about 20 minutes in that area with no luck. Never seen a bass let alone any fish do that.

I noticed that too with the off set hooks. I bend them flat to make them more weedless. They seem to last a bit longer. In regards to the weed guard, I have to re bend it every once in awhile too.

It may be the Bionic. I didn't think it had any red on the rod. I know it was close to the price of their Graphite series rods. Man this drives ya crazy. Guess I will have to make a special trip out there

Last week I was in my Bass Pro and the clerk turned me on to a casting rod by bass pro. I was hoping to find it online and read some reviews about. Looking for a 20-30 dollar rod for my son to use. Wont feel to heart broken if I lose 30 bucks as compared to 100 etc. Problem is I cant find the rod or remember the name. Its black made by bass pro and in the 30 dollar range. Has a split foam grip and comes in 6' to 7' all powers. I wont be able to hit the store for a week or so. So far he said they were pretty popular in sales. Thanks
