I believe ALF has a used Ish Monroe AGS. I have the Ehler all around.

I have several Steeze AGS, only one Tatula AGS and a bunch of the standard tatula elites. For moving baits I don’t think the AGS is worth the cost increase . The Elites have some great actions .

Roughing up soft plastics?
I promise you Randy is throwing the plopper/choppo. Everyone in the Ozarks does at the right time which will be soon. He may not want to talk about it or maybe he was late to the party 6 or 7 years ago.

Do they not make any micro swivels with mini split rings to prevent line twist in flukes?
That’s a poop bait hook.

Roughing up soft plastics?
Well he had 2 MLF top 10’s in ‘24 . I believe he was 3rd on Table Rock. He has found a niche on you tube. I don’t agree with all of his opinions but he seems to be making a living .

Fluoro vs mono size?
On a bait caster ?With Invisx, 10 for the pee wee jig and lighter shaky head . 12 for everything else I’m dragging.

Roughing up soft plastics?
Randy is a local guy and no question he is still a stick on Table Rock. With that said , does it matter ? I kinda doubt it . But it won’t hurt .

Paddletail Jigheads?
Just a 1/4 oz ball head.

I actually use the same swivel I would for a Carolina rig. Put it about 18” above the bait. No line twist and the extra weight helps with casting.

Jewel spinnerbait....
The Jolt is a Ozarks go to for night fishing . They have a big ol’ thumping blade.

What do you find to be the ideal weight for finesse jigs for river smallmouth, and what do you throw them on?
Personally I use MH fast.

Midwest spoons
My favorite way to fish is flipping spoons in docks and under the walkways . I use the Dixie Jet slab spoon in white or silver and purple. This time of year when the sun gets up they pull under the docks for shade. They can be tough to get to the boat because you have to drag them over the boat lifts at times.

It depends on the wind and depth but as light as I can get away with. 5/16 is my go to. I use the old Falcon Eakins rod or a Denali Android 703. The D&L is a good jig. Great head design.

6th Sense Bodega
I’ve been using the 3.5 as a trailer on the Jewel pee wee jig. I pull about 3 rings off the body .

the Teckel Max Squeaker.
Yes that's true. We use to rough up the wire with a file and soak them in salt water to try and get them to rust. I'm not sure it actually made much difference.

the Teckel Max Squeaker.
I've heard good things about the Teckel. I believe it's a copy of the old RI squeaky dolphin that they discontinued for some reason.

Carolina Rig with braid?
Not where I fish but if it works for you no reason not to.
