Best High Performance, Top Tier Reel?
I haven't used a ton of higher end reels, but my metanium xg is my favorite reel I've ever used now.

Shimano Aldebaran Bfs.....
I got the xg and I love it. It's great with finesse things but can handle much more. I can't imagine the Ltd is going to be anything less than awesome. Very nice looking reel.

Should I Get An Nrx 893?
Or a Metanium XG. My new favorite

Dobyns 705Cb
I use it for all treble hook presentations. I love it for lipless and squarebills, like it for topwater and jerkbaits. But I also don't throw a ton of topwaters or jerkbaits.

Baitcast Reel That Did It For You
First bc reel I bought was a Lews Tournament. I don't think I had ever used one before but I was hooked after that. I do have more expensive reels now but I would still be happy with that Lews. The higher end reels are better but not in a way that makes you a better fisherman.

All Around Nrx - Spinning
Some of yall told me this would happen. I got my first NRX, and now I want more. I'm wondering what yall think is the best all around spinning rod in the NRX line? I fish a lot of weightless plastics and shakey heads (usually 3/16-1/4oz) with spinning gear, but also occasional poppers, smaller jerkbaits, and drop shots (also around 1/4oz typically). Cover will be mostly open water but I do like to skip wacky rigs up under hanging branches in my yak. I don't expect I'll be fishing more than 10-15ft deep with this rod either. Finally, I've heard some people actually prefer some of the rods in the GLX line to the NRXs. Does this apply to anyone? And if so, new or old line of GLX rods? Thank you all in advance!

Missing Out On Something Sticking With Plastics Only?
Most of my fishing is definitely with plastics/jigs. However, I love throwing a lipless crank and squarebill. Rarely do I leave the house without a squarebill tied on. There's days that I'll only get bit if I'm throwing something with treble hooks.

What Is Your Favorite Soft Plastic?
Hmm... tough to pick one. I probably throw a BPS Stick-O the most, but a Rage Craw and Rage Recon Worm are pretty close behind.
-
Red Braid
My favorite part about it is that it matches the reel that its on. It catches fish all the same as the green PP which I use on all my other reels
-
Using Braid For Everything?
Yes. Add a leader if needed

Is 30Lb Braid Overkill
I bought a used spinning reel that had 30# Suffix on it if I remember correctly. I still have the same reel and never changed the line. My other reels have gotten 10-20# braid, but the 30# never proved to be an issue so its still on there.

Guaranteed To Catch Bass
I think that the baits you recommend may be too big for the size of the fish I've seen in this area. I agree with the other guys. Definitely not too big. I've caught a ton of small fish, same size as or smaller than the worm. While a stick worm works (arbitrarily) 95% of the time for me, there are a few guys out there that have never caught a fish on a stick worm. I don't know how they are actually fishing it, but anyways, I don't catch fish off a stick worm every day I throw it either.

Red Power Pro
I got some 20# red PP because it was on sale and I put it on one of my reels because it matches. It catches fish just like green.

How Far ...
I don't get hung up on how far I'm casting as long as I can put my lure where it needs to go. I honestly don't have much of an idea of how far I can chuck something. I could probably come close to spooling my Aldebaran BFS (spooled w/ 20# braid) on a MH rod with a 3/8 oz jig if I wanted to. I'll let yall do the math.
