  5. Down here in Georgia baits up to 8 inches have worked for me. i lean more toward soft swimbaits like hudds or rago bvds and ospreys but for hard baits the bbz or black dog shellcrackers are hard to beat.

  8. Went out saturday and water temps were low 70's and it looked like the lake had a late algea bloom that blanketed most of the lake i think that helped cool the water off quite a bit and apparently made the fish hungry first 30+ fish day I've had in a very long time not many big girls but a few nice 3 lbers its starting to feel like fall finally cool nights in the 50's and mid 70's at midday the leaves are falling and the fog on the water first thing in the morning makes me think there's something magical goin on out there as i cast my spook around that first blowdown of the day.
  9. I love pitching trigged craws or beavers. and frogs in slop is great but those big ol bass love big swimbaits probably those 3 techniques are what i love to do but i don't box myself into those techniques.

  16. I like vicious fc its cheap durable and manageable also available at wal mart
  17. In my experience i actually prefer to hook a bass thru the roof of the mouth . at least with single hook baits like jigs and t rigs as its harder for the fish to throw the hook and I've never hurt a fish that i know of
  18. Recently bought a few pretty cheap and like the action but I'm not sold on the moveable hook its a hook on some kind of flexible wire. I'm not sold on it because sunday i hooked up on with 5 fish on the booyah bait but only got 1 fish to the boat the others got off fairly quickly I'm pretty sure i got good hooksets on all 5 fish I'm just wondering if its the flex hook that caused it and what's you're experience with these baits
