What's The Word With The Dean Rojas/alton Jones Beef?
This is rediculous really. Rojas did not own that water, Alton Jones was there throughout the tournament. Rojas needs to take off his skirt, put on some fishing pants, and go fishing.

Oopsy Ike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm just glad they're both ok. Live and learn I guess, I found it remarkable no one was injured and there was little to no damage on the boat (that I could tell from the pics anyway).

Elite Anglers And Observers...
I would guess duckett had a camera man in his boat with his marshall following closely in another boat.

Revo S Vs. Revo Stx
I own a revo S, Stx gen 3 and two MGX's. All honesty I've been dissapointed with my S, I think it needs a good cleaning. The stx is great, I have it on my heavy jig/t-rig rod, this reel is the *****. The MGX is the finest reel I have ever owned, but lacks a little power compared to my stx.

P90X2
If you only got off the wagon for two meals then I would call that a successful week. This is my first week following my diet hardcore but I am allowing myself to eat out one meal a week. Friday's at the great local steakhouse.

P90X2
My step dad cycles the p90x and insanity- but doesn't follow the diet plan so much. Yet he's been consistent with both programs for three or so years now, and he is in great physical shape at 51. Personally I've always hated running but I'm giving in because cardio really is king. Right now I'm working my way up to running a mile three days a week-especially with warmer weather on the way. I also lift for about 30 min five days a week, nothing to heavy anymore but enough to stay toned. Working with sick or just elderly, debilitated people all day has motivated me to make diet and exercise an integral part of everyday life. Stick with it guys!

On The Water Snacks?
I try to eat a good sized meal before I head out, and bring some granola bars along with plenty of water. On off days or the weekend Ill enjoy a few cold brews on ice as the sun fades away while turning up the tunes on the boat.

Back Pain And Fatigue While Fishing?
Bought my first boat mid summer of 2012. 16' aluminum lowe. Within a couple weeks of fishing I developed pretty significant cervical spine pain after fishing an hour or so on the boat. Like a nagging tooth ache in my neck and most likely a slightly bulging disc. I only stand on the deck while fishing. I think its a combo of chronic poor head forward posture aggrevated by looking down on the water constantly and being blown around by the wind. I can fish from the bank for hours with minimal to no pain. Also think the elevated foot control for the troll has something to do with it, hopefully the I-pilot im about to purchase will make a difference. Where is your back pain specifically? You mention youre a regular in the gym, have you focused on strengthening your core? Do you stand while fishing or sit?

How Much Do The Top Pros Make From Sponsors?
I know the amounts will very, and its difficult to distinguish whos a "top pro" vs. Mid level, etc. But I've always wondered, so if anyone have any kind of an idea please share. Even if its just a few ball-park figures. I'd also like to hear about some of the guys that arn't household names. For instance, what kind of contract does Ike sign to promote Berkeley, Abu, Toyota, etc?. Surely there must be some monetary compensation, not just a bag of pit bosses here and a few veritas rods there.

Bassmaster Classic On Tv
Just saw a pic of JVD's rod/reels in the back of his pickup preparing for tomm. Guy has more loomis rods than my local bass pro no question.

Bassmaster Classic On Tv
Last year I renewed my love for bass fishing after about a ten year haiatus. Im anticipating the launch tommorrow like I used to any major golf tournament. Following the Bassmaster website blog updates and photos has been really neat and best believe Ill be glued tomm. At this point the guys must be chompin' at the bit to throw a cast with money on the line officially.

Vendetta 6'6" Med Fast
I have the same rod paired with a premier spinning reel. I fish any and everything on this setup, with 10lb yo-zuri hybrid. Works great with weightless plastics and light t-rigs, 1 and 1.5's, spook jr's, shakey head, etc.

Deep Water Tactics
Deep water was foreign to me for obvious reasons before I bought a boat last year finally. Electronics changed the game for me, but I didnt take advantage until late in the summer. My boat came with an older model bird at the console, black and white, good for depth readings but not much else. One 90 degree plus day while idling around killing time and looking for anything unusual on the unit, I found a large shallow flat that led to a steep drop off from the mouth of the cove into the main channel. To me at the time "offshore" fishing was interesting but I had only ever watched or read about it. This ledge dropped from 3 ft.to 20 ft +. In a hurry. Turned out to be a well traveled bass highway as evident by the success I found dragging 1/2 ounce football jigs and 10" worms down and even up the ledge, casting out into 25 ft. And dragging back. This lake receives a fair amount of pressure but I have never seen anyone targeting this spot, which I think is also a reason I found so many quality bites. As soon as my income tax check clears im buying a 998c SI combo and can't wait to explore the deepest water at a small 50 acre lake near my house. At this particular lake to my knowledge rarely if ever does anyone venture offshore, but in the middle of winter or the dog days of summer there will be schools of big bass holding to deep offshore structure or creek beds. The drop shot is another method I plan on giving a lot of attention this summer.

Question About The Classic
Boy this may just be a tough classic for these guys. High of 46 with a low of 26 to kick it off on Friday. Would be interesting to hear from any BR members that fish the lake regularly or have in the past. How many days of practice do they get to pre-fish? I assume some are on their way to tulsa as we speak.

Reliability Of Tw?
Yes, they are, I won't order rods online anywhere else. I've found reels to be cheaper on amazon however for the handful of new in box reels I have ordered online.
