I recently aquired 8 packs of the 4inch kietech swing impact baits. These are not the FAT model. My questions are as follows; 1. what is the best hook size when texas rigging? 2.what other ways do you rig this bait? 3.what type of line do you recommend for this bait. These are some really nice baits.Just looking for info on how to maximize its potential. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks everyone-KDW96..........................

I bought one at a pawn shop for 5 dollars. The spool would not turn. Took it home cleaned it found about 6inches of 4lb line had got between spool and frame. Works like a new one now,hasnt gave me any trouble at all since. I really like how close it sits down on the rod seat also.

Could someone school me on the difference between regular floro line and a spool of floro leader? I want to start putting a leader on my braid (12&8 mono eq.) Do i want to use the same leader 12&8 or use bigger leader? Just seems it would be more cost effective,buy gettting a 200yd spool as opposed to 50 yd at the same price. Also what brand or brands would be helpful.Im ordering from BPS tonight.Thanks everyone............

I still have some bottles of Uncle Josh tiny craws i picked up back in the 80s. I always carry some still today,as i always manage to get fish with them.Just wish i could find more?

I have both types.And have not noticed any difference in sensitivity at all.I recently picked up a 6-6 med.-accurist- with micro guides for 20.00. Seems to be a good rod,but slightly tip heavy.With the split grip,it will be a easy fix to balance it out better with my reel. I figured for 20.00, id try it.

I like the looks of the (FAT)model,but they run about 7.50 a pack? Are they really that good,or can you all recommend something just as good? Ive got a order from TW coming with some Calvitrons. Ive not had much luck with buzzbaits in the past,but its my own fault. Gonna give them a good work out this year,and wanted to know what line you all recommend,rod length,etc. I ordered 6 of the 3/8 0z,various colors,(maybe i should have got 1/4oz.?). Also,what knot do you recommend? As you can see,my confidense in a buzzbait is lacking,but im going to change that! Thanks in advance..........

They are a good reel. I bought 3 from the flea market on here a few weeks back,just to have as spares plus he had 5 xtra spools to go with them.

No i do not have money to blow. I got gift cards for this purpose at christmas. This is where the cards were too,so thats where i will get it...............

The crankin stick is great crankbait rod. I have 3 (2 mh &1 m) 7ft. Never had a problem with them.

I changed out all the hooks on my RCI ,RC2 cranks with the kvd hooks. The stock hooks on them bend really easily on anything 4lbs an over.The gamakatsu ewg are good too.
