Where can you buy the -jr.- at? I checked TW,BPS ,and CABELS, but never seen them listed as jr size.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Yep.Tired of the rods sliding after a ride to the local ponds.I think im going to just build one.Just the vibrations of driving will have the tips against the front of the bed,and the reels mard up.

I have a few reels with them. They are ok,but expensive for what the are. Walmarts now selling them for 2.97 made bt someone else. They look exactly the same,i grabbed a few sets of those to try. Both grips make the handles bigger which i like.I also use them to id rod andreels at a glance.

I do it with my crankbaits,and havent had any probems yet. I use a fine tip sharpie.

I bought two spinning reels at BPS last spring,i asked how much theyd charge to put mono on them.He told me a set price?never neationed about doing it for free? What he wanted to charge me,i could have bought a big spool,so i did. I dont know why they tryed to charge me.

If you can wait,the big sales at Bass Pro is coming up,also check the bargan bin at Cabelas. Also TW has a classic sale right now,not to mention the flea market on this site. Some good rods can be had even if you have to pay 8.00 extra for shipping a rod. You will get alot better choices and can have it shipped to his house if you like. Good luck in your search.......

Specifically-Damiki HYDRAS. Taking the bodys of one color,and using tail section of another. Alway using mendit,makes some great fish catchin baits!

I use the WHITE first aid,cloth tape. I think it 3/8 or 1/2 in. wide,ang a fine tip sharpy. The tape stays put rain or shine.

I just got the 3505. I can put my spinnerbaits and buzzbaits it it. D&M buzebaits lay at slight angle,Calvitrons fit perfect.

I chaned out hooks on kvds and lucky strike rc lasy spring. After hooks being bent 4 times,id had enough.

Plus the sale price end up being more than TW?

I have had the same problem. I got a pair exactly like the ones Sieberts posted,but you can get them at hobby lobby. My wife said you can print a 40% off coupon on one item. I ended up paying 5?dollars for them. I may end up filing like sieberts has?

OOPS i miss read post. For the shad raps ive been using the same hook. #7 rap- size 6. #9rap- size 4 or 2.

Im in the process of doing it now. Ive been using the KVD 1X2XSHORT. 1/4oz- gets size 6. 3/8oz- gets size 4 or 2. 1/2oz- gets size 2 or 1. Some of the 3/8&1/2 hooks have been up sized, too a 2 or 1.

I got some of the craws.Used them late summer&fall. The quality of what i got is great.Worked good on my jigs.Also ordered 4.5 grubs. Good quality stuff,and products can be ordered in bulk at 20% off.

I quit using straight flouro. Just too many hoops to jump through,when im tryin to fish? Last year i used a braid to flouro leader with great results, but i was using Seaguar Blue Label leader material. There is a very big difference between leader/ and regular flouro. You get less of leader per spool,but well worth it.
