I use the 3700 waterproof(red gasket). 3 big latches and actually water proof. i make sure jigs are dry before going back in though.

I dont see a issue with providing a ever growing library of knowledge for others to learn from?

Theres no doubt falcon was a much better built product.Plano bought them out,changed the boxes from 4 latch to just 2, and used way cheaper plastic. The best out there is the red&black 3700 size,from BassMafia,at about 25.00. Very strong box,and waterproof.Alittle heavier,but worth it,and at TW. Another is plano 3700 waterproof(red gasket),with 3 big tight latches. The money we spend on quality terminal tackle,and jigs,justifies the expense. I also use silica containers from medication bottles to help. My jigs are stored in the 3700,and all terminal tackle in the bassmafia. I put both boxes underwater for 15 minutes,held down with a gallon of water. Neither box had a drop of moisture inside. Id say my stuffs all good

I did it to a straight handled lighting rod, Just to see if i could. I extended the rear 4inchs,by sliding a piece of ridged plastic pipe over the original handle,and pvc cement a cap on the end. Covered the pipe with a rod wrap. This rod still gets used at times to date.The rods probably 15yrs old. It works great,never has come loose,no problems.

I have 2 shimano castaic,that ive been using for about 10yrs. I would like to find another just to have on hand. Most of my reels are ABU or PQ, but these are just for pitchin,flippin

These are a great reel ! For 59.00 id be on this. May get 1 or 2 just to have as spares.

That will work just fine for those bluegill. Set your drag right and dont try to horse any bigger fish. My experience using ultralight is also to use a good quality line. Good luck.

Those are really nice. Might have to try a couple? As far as Strike King, i dont think so? The tail&claws are somewhat different. They would have to be the exact width,thickness etc. for them to cause him any issues. But thats just my opinion though.//

I got a bunch for TW also. Used them all in last 2 orders in last 2 weeks. I sure could have used a sale like that,but i will be fishin by then,not much time at the computer. Also everything was in stock,waiting till may,you may be waiting longer because of sale?

Running a mono as backer is alot cheaper,and has worked forever. I cant see doing it because of cost vs wieght. This is just my opinion though?

I have rods that ive paid 2or3 times more than shockrods,lighting rods. As far as im concerned,i wasted my money on the more expensive ones.Havent had ANY trouble with any of them. Id go to walmart and check them out for sure.That way you can make sure the guides are straight,etc. You can also take your reel in with you to put on the rods,which will a great help.

I had one,but gave it too my brother,as he needed a good reel. This reel has been around for awhile,which says something about. I really like them,i dont think youll be dissapointed at all,and its at a very good price too.

Im going to find out which ones i like,as i added them to my TW order sunday evening. Some brands have 2 sizes. Light line&Heavy line. I ended up getting 3 different kinds to find the ones that work best? As i have never used them.

Dont try to order it on line,as i did. I ordered suffix&832(3 spools),said they were in stock. i paid,still in stock,3 days later, an email saying order was cancelled? I called,all they could say was that they were unable ship. Thank goodness for TW !
