What's your gear you're using for frog fishing?

I use both of those as well. I really like the dream shot a lot. Great little bait.

Why did you diassemble and what did you do while apart?

GOPRO camera Hero3: files .thm and .lrv How to take advantage of the files generated by the camera GOPRO Hero3? First you copy all the files on your computer (.mp4, .thm, .lrv). Then: You take your .thm and you change the extension to .jpg (or simply you add .jpg). You take your .lrv and you change the extension to .mp4 (or simply you add .mp4). What's the point? File (.thm).jpg shows your sequence. You can you use it as thumbnail in example. File (.lrv).mp4 is a low resolution version of your video. Useless? No, rather clever. This low resolution version allows you to do your editing on your old laptop. And only before starting the final export HD videos you replace the low res file by the original .mp4 HD using the same file name. Conclusion: keep all original files generated by your GOPRO Hero3. Cool, no? Info was taken from a website I found but I did test it and it does work! I was doing some swimming with the family today. Here are some fun pics from the day just messing around. Poor guy. Didn't quite fit.

What rod are you using? If its not loading up you'll never get the distance you want.

You're going to love that reel. Its one of my favorites that I own. For a little bit more money you could consider a St Croix Legend Tournament Bass rod. Avid would be in the range but full cork grips only. Good luck and enjoy the reel!

Put the braid on. 30# is a bit big for my liking but you definitely can use it. Trust me you won't look back.

Switch to 15# braid and you'll be In heaven. More than likely it is your line. Do ypu know how to spool line on a spinning reel correctly?

They're too heavy for drop shot in my opinion. For a soft plastic they're heavy. I fish mine weightless on a 5/o ewg hook.

Perhaps youre right. I like the original ones myself. For paddle tail swimbaits I go with SK Shadalicous.

Loop this is the caffeine shad. The boot tail is the swimming shad. Ialso use jjs for sscent but in clear. I prefer the plastics color that it comes in.

They have a great side to side action if you work it like a jerkbait. Kill it so it flutters on the fall. It's a bass magnet. One of my go to baits. I love it. I need to stock up.

This is my PB bass. It was 24" and roughly 7lbs based of measurements. This is a Wisconsin bass, so northern strain. Bass weights will vary between bodies of water and geographically. Without actually having it out of the water and taking measurements by length and or on a scale, there's really no certainty. To be honest, I thought this fish was a DD bass...and it wasn't.

Most of the time on my lipless cranks I use a yo-yo retrieve. That seems to trigger most strikes, normally on the fall. I use primarily only SK Red Eyes as they have the best flutter on the fall. If i'm not yo-yoing.......i'm burning them with an occasional stop and start.

I've seen a few pike like this from my lake. I believe when they're very young and get hooked aggressively it may damage the growth on their upper mouth. Just a theory, but thought I'd share on this topic of mutants. That is not me by the way. lol

I always have a copy in my fishing bag as well as I try to have one in my pocket. I've only been questioned by DNR in IL or Wisconsin maybe 3 times in my life. I will say the fine is one thing, but a misdemeanor is a bit harsh. Sucks to hear it but lesson learned I suppose.

I have to say, A++ customer service from SK. I got an email back in less than an hour: Mark, we are sorry for the trouble you have had with the sunglasses. If you will send them to Strike King , we will replace them and send you a new pair and something extra for your trouble. Thank you for using Strike King Products I'm good with that. Shipping will cost me 5 bucks to get new ones. However, I would like to know what caused it.

Here is mine. You can see the slightly different shade in the inside of the lens. That is not a glare, it's like the first layer of lens wore out or something.

No, lotion only. Did you get yours replaced or even try? I use J Crew Fiber in my hair during the week. I am wondering if it is from the hair product when they were rested on my head. I typically don't use these glasses for daily wear, but my other pair finally broke.
