  1. I'm not really keen on having to pay to fish anymore than we already do with equipment, licenses, launch fees, gas, transportation, etc... Part of the thrill for me is the hunt for the fish and "figuring it out". While guiding and going to managed lakes doesn't automatically put a fish on your line, it certainly boosts your chances. This is the way to go for people who just want to catch fish, not the "figure" it out portion. It's just not for me and I have been on a few guided outings. In short, I wouldn't pay for any of the above. I mean that in the most respectful manner too.
  2. No......I never do.
  3. The population of snakes has exploded around here in the recent years of West Nile virus with the abundance of crows that are missing. By my folks house, they have snakes constantly. My mom just loves it...
  4. Very cool Goose. Thanks for sharing that.
  5. Nice to see you get on some fish. How were you catching them?
  6. The restaurant in Bolingbrook IL has terrible service. Food is decent but almost never right and about 30 min late every time. I still love going there to shop. It's nice to have one close by.
  7. I'd be happy with anything bigger than my PB of 7lbs. To catch something almost double that is just mind blowing to me.
  8. Nothing for me. My boys both have colds and fevers. Its going to be a lot of boogies and movies.
  9. Nice brownies! Way to go!
  10. Never been there. Let me know how you do. Good luck to you.
  11. I'm about an hour north of Madison. Marquette/Green Lake area.

You'll be fine. Don't worry about it. Bass hit an A-rig with wires all over don't they? Play with trailer selections. I use craws, paddle tails, twister tails and more. You gotta just get out there and let the fish tell you what they want.
  14. I have a couple of the flip n swim model in New Gill and Salsa. Nice jigs. Don't look past Siebert Outdoors either. Mike has a Labor Day sale and his swim jigs are really nice too. I have the Bluegill in 3/8oz, top notch stuff. Either way you go, you won't be disappointed.
  15. Nice pigs. Way to go!
  16. Yeaaa buddy! That's a great night!
  17. Take care man. Enjoyed seeing your reports and insight on fishing. Best of luck to your career path and everything else ahead of you. Pop in to say hello when you can.
  18. This community helps my sanity at times. Hope you stick around. Best wishes to your future.
  19. Nice fish Speed! What was the length on the ski?
  20. Different strokes for different folks. Whatever people do with their money is up to them and ultimately what makes someone happy is what is important. I will splurge at times but I don't have pockets deep enough to have an arsenal of super expensive baits. Some of those swimbaits have wicked action that your big name retailers just don't produce. That's a fact jack! Do they cause more strikes or catch bigger fish....eh....probably not. Never know unless you throw 'em!
  21. Thanks brotha, I have them on my FB. I'll keep my eyes peeled.
  22. How do we know of these release dates? I tried emailing them, I want a few items. I'm on a pc daily so my timing could be perfect. Anyone have insight to when 3:16 releases their stuff, let me know.
  23. 200 is right hand, 201 is lefty. Not sure of the price gap but the "G" series was released last year.
