multi bank charger questions.
As long as the maintainer is big enough (amperage wise)for both of them. I ruined a 31 series deep cycle, by putting to small of a charger on it. Several people I fish with, run Walmart batteries, 3-5 years is the norm, either with an on-board charger, or a shop charger. Same results. I've heard great things about the Trojan T-1275. The problem for me is, they're about $200 a piece. The amp hours, lifespan/charge cycles, etc is greater though. They're also taller than a standard deep cycle. I'm already over budget on this build, not sure I really want to go more in the red! BTW, I wouldn't get caught up in whose name is on the battery. There are only a couple of battery manufacturers in the U.S. .

Best mounting unit with needs
Ram mounts are good. A tip for a "wrench" to tighten the ram mount. Get a 2" PVC tee, slot the tee end to fit over the ram tightening handle.

new tow vehicle
I have a 2018 Nissan Frontier, V6, 4x4, Crew cab, short bed. I love it. I had a G3 1756DLX, it didn't know it was there. Had a 2011 Ford escape V6 before that, it was kinda scary, especially with stopping that boat. Before that, had a Chevy trailblazer, pulled that boat as good as the frontier did. Towed a buddies 21' ranger with a 250hp Yamaha, with the frontier, It did fine. If I ever get done working on this 17' Skeeter, I'll let you know how it tows it!

Boat Carpet vs. Treble Hooks
I'm going to put EVA faux foam in mine. Some of the cheaper stuff, from Amazon or eBay. I'm wondering how it will do with hooks. It's not supposed to hold dirt or water like carpet.

Mod V or Deep v Hull??
Seacrow is correct, a mod-v is more stable at rest, than a deep-v. A deep-v cuts through the waves better, when underway. - It's a trade-off - Previous boat was a 17' long x 56" bottom, mod-v, it was quite stable while fishing, did ok on choppy water. More than that, it was a wet ride. My boat before that was a 16' x 36 or 40" bottom, deep-v. Never got wet in rough water, it rocked pretty bad when fishing though. It did however, plane out with three lardbutts, tackle boxes, coolers, and a 25hp 2-stroke. I had them both on a 10,000 acre lake.

? Vintage Boat Stickers ?
I'm redoing a boat, with any luck, I'll soon be putting stickers on it and the trailer. After I make sure it floats and runs!! Where have you gotten stickers from? We have a place in town that makes stickers and wraps, I'm going to price them. As for online, where from? I found discountdecals.com, any experience with them? It's an '87 Skeeter Strada F-120

Above ground pool - ozone or salt ?
Which? Why? We currently have a salt generator. Love it. Before, we had traditional chlorine pool. We like the salt, as it doesn't leave your skin feeling dried out, eyes aren't red, chemical costs are much less, haven't had any issues with algal blooms. How will this compare to ozone? We will be getting a new pool, pump, everything. If we get salt, it would need to be a salt friendly pool, as it seems most manufacturers, will void the warranty if you use salt, and it's not rated for it. Thinking about switching to ozone.

What to wear fishing in hot weather
https://soccer.epicsports.com/prod/7693/index.html I wear these ^^^. Cheap, and work great. They run a size big. Also, neck gaiter (from SA company) around nose and ears, wide brimmed hat, half finger gloves (from fish monkey). I've had "spots" removed from my ears. Have some more that should probably be removed, and some on my hands. I did have in my youth though!

Bunk Board Lubricant
I just put gatorback bunk covers on. They look like they'll do good. Have not loaded\unloaded yet. Have read a lot of good reviews on them.

Outboard Mounting Height/Low Water Pressure
Did you lower the engine, to the next set of holes? Too see if that would help?

Rstaff44 - same here. From work, I can see part of the parking lot for the local ramp. The only days it's not packed are rainy ones.

Where are all the Illinois Guys ?
Very true for not being able to Id you, with a mask on. I've been wondering if store thefts would go up, because of such. Similar to foid cards using an older picture, last time I renewed I sent in a current picture. My new card came back, with the old picture. For trailer plates, last year's bill was $18, this year $118. I could understand raising them, just not that much.

Boat and trailer Color options
I'm redoing a 87 Skeeter Strada F120. The seats I have to replace with are gray, millenium marine seats. I'm planning on EVA faux foam for the flooring. I'd like to stay away from dark colors for the boat, for the heat and showing dirt. I have red carpet for the bunk boards. Trailer color - Black, red, gray, white, other? Thanks !

Remodeling older boats
If you like fixing things, go for it! As stated above, the fun is in the build. Otherwise......it gets expensive, quick ! Im redoing an older bass boat, as we speak.
