  1. I swear cowboys fans say they are getting their 6th every year and then every year they make an excuse as to why they didn't.... Anyways, with AP still on the Vikings and the defense they have, they could make a run. Guess that is the beauty of the NFL, you never know what is going to happen and the favorite rarely wins it all.

I always mix it up until i figure out what is working. I have been throwing the Pop-x and Pop-Max and bot hare also able to be walked so i incorporate that motion into it as well at times. It is kind of crazy how what seems to be a small difference in cadence can make a big difference in catching some fish.
  3. Remember Sanchez took the Jets to the AFC championship game quite a few times with not as good of a defense that he has now and less offensive players around him.
  4. I stand pretty often to fish but with a raised seat like most kayaks now have, it isn't as crucial as it used to be. As far as anchors go, I have a about a 3 foot length of the heaviest chain they sell at Home Depot that i wrapped in gorilla tape and attached to a dog leash via 3 zip ties. If it gets hung, I am out a few bucks and the zip ties will break. I can also use it as a drag chain in slow current or heavy wind. Depending on the depth of your water, you may be better suited with a stakeout pole. I have an 8' one that I use 5 to 1 to the anchor on the lakes i fish
  5. pink hula popper on a drop shot or caroilna rig...discontinued color though so they are hard to track down or you have to paint them yourself.
  6. If he is the backup and not a third stringer, you will see him this season either because Romo is hurt or because they aren't performing and the fan base will pressure Jones to make the move.
  7. Not usually but it does dictate where i fish. Being in a kayak i have learned to use the wind to my advantage and usually put down a drag chain if it is really bad and let the wind move me around while i just correct for direction mainly.
  8. And i was just debating on getting up early and going fishing tomorrow or fishing through the night tonight....decisions decisions
  9. he was actually probably bigger than 8lb then because almost no line actually breaks at it's rated strength.... How did you guess?
  10. I know what you mean, I lost a 10lber today and i didn't even get as close to landing it as you did....
  11. Team wise it isn't terrible but they face 4 or 5 teams who are coming off their bye week and have an early bye week themselves.....they also don't have back to back home games until the last 2 weeks of the season.
  12. There is no way they will be on the field more than when Chip-filled-belly was coach. And they did pretty well with him too really.
  13. I find it funny how cowboys fans are all over prescott this preseason, and he has looked good, but many of those same fans were laughing at the hype Bradford was getting in last year's preseason where he was even better. I have no clue what the eagles are gonna do except their defense. their defense is going to be real good.
  14. you also have to consider a PFD and a paddle in your budget. I have owned many kayaks and if you can save more I do think you would be happier but getting off the bank and into the water will always be better, even if it is a pain in the butt at times.
  15. I don't go back till wednesday and the kids don't start till after labor day....I am not looking forward to all the training days before school starts but it is what it is i guess.
  16. If you have a trolling motor you will be fine. I don't and fish from a kayak and I am fine too. I think the best water is a few miles from the launch either towards 64 or up past the two bridges but i am not sure how much the water being down for so long impacted the fishing. I may go out there next time i get out.
  17. i've caught fish in lilly pads, with surface temps in the 88- 93 range, consistently. That would make me think that mats would be even more likely as it blocks more sun and also creates a more oxygen rich environment. I am a believer that there are always fish shallow no matter what the temperature of the water and having caught fish in under 5' of water in temps ranging from 34-90+ makes me think i am not crazy lol
  18. I don't see nucnaoe as a major brand and Jackson, Native, Wilderness, Feel Free and Hobie all have pedal drives. http://nativewatercraft.com/product/ultimate-fx-propel-13/
  19. the only time i remember it like that was 8 on 8 casts on my fly rod. Biggest went 19" and all were sitting off a current seam in the cooler water since it was hot as a mofo out.
  20. Native makes a pedal drive hybrid which is probably as close as you will get. And pretty much every major brand makes a pedal drive now.
  21. it's not always the bait....there is a reason why it is hard to be a good fisherman, the bait is only one part of a very large equation.
  22. I almost fished there last week because we were staying at the jellystone campground but decided not to...i just might next trip there though
  23. looks nasty but so does pretty much everything from burger king to me
  24. Look at the deck of the radar and yo can see that the flex pod and pedal drive are in separate locations. The flex pod seems to be in the same spot with the pedal drive closer to the seat. This allows you to have your electronics and pedal drive. I am guessing the structural aspects of the flex pod would not allow for pedal drive compatibility. And as far as weight goes, the Radar is not a light boat by any means either
