I don't get why they baby Embiid and the team, and many of the fans, act like this team is some seasoned veteran team that can just turn it on at any time. They are a few young stars in the making and journeymen types. Polestera flat out out coached Brown last game and it wasn't even close really.

MJ could’ve come straight out from high school I’m pretty sure but he wasn’t good enough and needed the extra college for playing time. I do think the majority of the vitriol towards Lebron is because of the “decision” and not his play and definitely not his lifestyle. Same thing really. Difference is they started those rules during MJs time.

If you think MJ never complained than i would say you are probably to young to have watched him play.

Jordan played 3 years in college not 4 and what difference does that make? They are comparing 15 seasons. Jordan was a spectacular talent without doubt. He needed pippen before he could even win a single playoff series and Phil Jackson before he could move on in the playoffs. Look at the first team Lebron took to the finals...one of the worst teams ever. Mj never could do that. He isn’t a make guys around him better type player. When he retired, the team still won 50+ games. When Lebron is gone, teams are in the lottery.

I think Fultz will be a stud. This team has some super smooth and deceptively quick players in Simmons and Fultz.

I used to use a tarp to cover up my kayak which is stored on a trailer for the same reasons you mentioned. I got a fitted cover and it is way easier to put on and does a better job keeping the rain and stuff out as well. And as a bonus, i could trailer with it on if i so desired. So yeah, spring for the cover

Ben Simmons is the best player on this team and I don't even think it is close to be honest. He makes everyone on the team better. It will be nice to have Embiid back though

Jordan flopped a lot and started the whole preferential treatment for stars and complaining to the refs. How do you quantify that MJ placed more importance on winning? One could easily argue that James emphasized that more because of his desire to move teams to tie him the biggest opportunity to win.

Yeah I would say that the parity in the NBA this season is probably higher than it has been in a long time. Having a few top teams is nothing new. When you have 7 game series in each round you rarely have major upsets and the best teams usually win which is really the point of the playoffs. it isn't like a 9-7 WC team winning the Super Bowl because they got hot at the right time in a single elimination playoff format.

Fishing for shad is more about position than anything. Last year on the delaware river fishing for shad with my dad we anchored the boat. We had identical rigs set up and had one off the back and one off each side. They were a slip type of flutter spoon rig that you just let it sit a certain distance off the boat and let the current do the work. Well on that day we boated well over 2 dozen fish but they were all from the port side of the boat. I even moved all the other lines so they were the same distance behind the boat and still, the port side was the only one getting bit. Now keep in mind that the greatest distance between any of the lines was probably 4-5' too. That trip and others like it have showed me that location is more important than lure or technique.

I’m not talking about team success. I said best player. The only edge edge I give to MJ over Lebron is in shooting. Other than that Lebron is better at every other aspect of the game.

GS versus houston in the finals isn't the best matchup and i just showed you why...also don't flatter yourself and think i like to argue with you because i don't know you from adam. the top 4 teams are about the same and they are split between both conferences. GSW is playing poorly right now and I do think they might lose in the first round. Houston has to prove themselves in the playoffs, lebron is probably the greatest player to ever play and always finds a way to win and then there are the young teams of boston and Philly and Toronto who are all lacking playoff experience.

How is it a perfect example? the top 4 teams would still be in the semis. it has also always been this way. Back in the 80s the west was weak then the mid 90's it was more of a push with the edge probably going to the west then early 2000s it shifted to the west but at the same time, plenty of teams from the east won. and who are you a fan of again or does it change based on the year?

well toronto swept houston and got swept by GSW this season. Boston split with both GSW and Houston. So i am not sure your theory works, at least not this year.

I do it all the time. It is a lot of fun but it is also limited unless you like chucking sinking lines when you get past about 10' deep. Not my favorite thing to do. I like nothing more than fishing a lilly pad field with a fly rod and bunch of frogs or divers. It is more of a finesse style of fishing in the slop than the fish are used to seeing and it results in some good fish.

I'd bet they don't do the driving on the longer trips if they can afford to have someone else drive it for them.

how does getting rid of conferences change anything? Right now the west has better top teams but the east has better depth from 1-6 seeds. If you get rid of conferences as far as playoff seeding is concerned you would have houston at the top and then Toronto, GSW, boston, philly, cleveland then the rest fall into place. You still have top teams agains the worst teams in the first round. I wouldn't be surprised one bit to see GS get bounced in the first round. Houston and Harden and Paul have a history of not playing well in the playoffs so they have to get past that hurdle. The playoffs are a different animal and I am anxious to see how the sixers perform.

I'll be the first to admit that the Sixers have exceeded my expectations. Simmons adapted to the NBA very quickly and has made everyone on the team better. I figured they would be around .500 and fighting for one of the last playoff spots but they came together at the right time, even if their schedule was soft at the end. Kind of odd to think that with all the great teams they have had that this team is the one that will hold the consecutive win streak. Gonna be a fun playoffs and I am gonna do all I can to get to a playoff game.

I have a few in my bass pro cart and still deciding whether or not to pull the trigger to use some rewards and a gift card i have. They look like good baits but i want to check the out in person first.

They work well but they don't take kindly to a fast retrieve. They do have a very erratic retrieve with no input from the angler.

i personally don't use the maps but i wouldn't get a unit without side imaging. It is a game changer for kayak fisherman

That thing looks great!! I use some of the Yum pumpkin head shakey heads for that exact purpose...i know what i will be trying as soon as i need some more

I started throwing popping frogs last year or maybe the year before and it is pretty much all i use unless the cover dictates a more slender profile. I have found quite a few i like, spro, terminator, booyah, they are all solid.
