  1. My thought was going to be dark, LARGE, and noisy... -The dark color I think is the more important piece to the puzzle I would try a texas rigged brush hog of some sort... Like a rage hog or a bps punch hog...
  2. At night and early morning your choices are broad you can really throw anything you would like... Early morning ~Topwater - jitterbugs, damiki d pop, spooks, etc. Mid Day ~ Bottom - Texas rigs, jigs, deep cranks, etc. Night ~ Topwater
  3. Fish the bottom, throw a texas rig, slow retrieve... It has been working for me in the middle of the day...
  4. That's exactly what I have been doing. I don't have electronics either but tend to make educated guesses where I might find some drop offs, and when I start to find submerged weeds I fish the area thoroughly with a texas rigged rage craw, or any soft plastic you like... Doing this I caught these...
  5. If you are looking for a casting setup for under $100 than a quantum antix (left) from TW and an abu Garcia vengeance...
  6. Winsconsin will win it all!
  7. I believe it is residents only, we parked at the elementary school though...
  8. I saw those crazy things today lol!!! I haven't used them but I'd imagine a texas rig would do the trick!
  9. I was with my friend when he caught this 5.57 lbs bass with a squarebill in the rain...
  10. Darker colors, and larger baits...
  11. Have not done it in a while but it sure does work!
  12. Caught this 2lbs 10 oz today....
  13. Back to back days with nice fish... Yesterday 3lbs 0 oz - Potanipo - Texas rigged bps punch hog, black blue flake. Today, Glen Lake - 2lbs 10 oz - Texas rigged rage craw, bama bug...

  16. I live in New Hampshire soooooooo.....
  17. Not trying to take away from your fish at all but I think 4lbs is a stretch... The smallie in this photo was 1.97 pounds and the largemouth was 3 lbs 0oz... Still a beautiful smallmouth bass!!!!
  18. Very impressed!!! Thought I might hear some wacky numbers. The official weight of the fish was 3lbs 0oz... When I landed her I thought it was atleast 4, the scale said 3... Just wanted to see what you guys were going to say, and seems like you agree with the scale LOL! I still think it's a hell of a fish though! Thanks guys
