  1. YES, definitely!!!
  2. Personally I like to throw more natural colors, and when I'm fishing stained water i'll throw and black w/ bue flake or black neon. My friend sometimes throws a stickbait that is half pink and half orange in stained water so I bet it will get the job done.

  10. I have been following a thread in the southeast bass fishing section and really want to get one started for us up north. Its a friendly competition, the person with biggest 5 fish (by length) wins. The florida thread has been doing it by month which seems to working well, and because its pretty much august why not do it that way. So for your fish to count, a photo of the fish must be taken laying on the tape measure, yard stick, whatever you use to measure your fish. The area restraint will be New England (all fish must be caught in NE to count), so anyone who wants to participate just give a reply saying that you are going to do it. Just so I know I'm not posting fish and I'm the only who doing it, LOL. It will start today and go to the last day in august (only fish caught in this time frame will count for the competition, just be honest) so start catching and posting, lets have some fun!!! Here's the southern thread if anyone wants to check it out http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/121112-florida-bragging-rights-take-3-july-1st-31st/page-1 -Make all your posts in this thread, questions, suggestions, and your fish (Please try to post fish within a day or two of it being caught, thanks) EDIT: If your state is listed under the northeast bass fishing forum then you may participate. Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont
  11. Dang, that's a BEAUTY!
  12. I haven't fished with high vis yellow, but from what I've heard and seen from some videos on youtube it doesn't spook the fish. If you do decide to try it, its going to be just like trying a bait you don't have confidence in, but once you start getting solid fish you gain confidence in the bait (line) and it will be no different than before, now your just using a different bait (line).
  13. LOVE this thread, I really wanna do something like this for northern guys...
