Now I need to get a 5 pounder and then my PB this year...

2 pounders aren't that small, and they always lose a few pounds on the way in... LOL

I got her pretty much on the opposite side of the launch... We were fishing the edge of the thick pads, and taking some casts maybe 10 or 20 yards out, parallel to the weeds...

Sweet! Me and my friends were kidding around about putting one in my canoe...

Know nothing about the freshwater ones, but those saltwater ones are a boatload of fun!!!!

I just got 11 packs of rage craws and a pack of thumpers and shad to try... Absolutely love rage tail, my new favorite brand by far.

Yeah I was using a 1/16 oz weight, I tend to lean towards lighter weights like 1/16 or 1/8 when I can. It forces me to fish the bait nice and slow along the bottom.

For texas rigs, and light jigs I use a 7' M and it has great backbone and sensitivity...
