  3. Caught this HAWG at Potanipo this afternoon!!!!!! Scale said 3lbs 0 oz, thought it was gunna be atlest 4lbs... LOL still a hell of a nice fish!!!!
  4. Rocky pond in hollis... Melendy... Those are two decent places... I will get back to you later and think of some more spots.
  5. Going to try Potanipo for a few hours today, I'll post our results...
  6. Lately me and my friends have been throwing texas rigs for the majority of hour outings with success. Some of the soft plastics we were using included culprit incredi craws, yamamoto senko, rage craws, brush hogs, etc. Just wanted to share with guys...
  7. Sunset lake - Greenfield - 2lbs 5oz - Jitterbug
  8. OHHH YEAHHH!!! Totally forgot to mention, water levels on massasecum and the Contoocook were very high. When I went to massasecum a few weeks ago the launch was probably 20-25 feet (not depth) further out than it was today... The one thing that was bothersome was the clarity, it was sooooo murky. It was so bad in some places that you couldn't see 3ft down, when last time I was there you could see 10 ft down to the bottom in the same spot... So the one problem I came across from the high water levels was the water clarity, that's it...
  9. Fished massasecum today with two friends... One of my pals caught a 2.87lbs largemouth (biggest of the day), and the other one caught a 1.5lbs smallie (biggest smallie of the day), I also caught a 1.71 largemouth (my biggest of the day lol, I wasn't on the big ones today).... After that we stopped by the Contoocook to try to get some smallies and we all landed a few 1pounders...
  10. Whoever's going to be on the water tomorrow be a little more cautious than usual and stay safe. Have a great 4th!!
  11. Awesome jack! I would say your estimation of 4lbs is pretty accurate, this one was 3.5lbs and put up a heck of a fight!!!
  12. Smallies are so aggressive! If you put a shakey head with no soft plastic, just the head on a smallmouth bed they will hit it LOL...
  13. I don't personally own a kayak, I fish from my canoe (explorer 15 mad river canoe)... The kayak I was fishing in yesterday was an old town vapor, it was the first time I ever fished in a kayak and I didn't have any problems. Standing in it wasn't too bad but I brought my huge tackle bag on so that probably made it a bit more difficult. I think it is a pretty solid yak for the most part... I'm 5' 7" and If my tackle bag wasn't blocking my feet I would have had more than enough leg room. Oh and it is a sit in...
  14. Overstocktackle.... I just bought like 10 rage craw packs, rage shad, thumpers, etc.... 35 bucks!!!!
  15. Same, mine was 17.5 inches
  16. Got these guys on texas rigged rage craws... Lost another largemouth at the side of the yak that would have probably went a between 3 and 3.5lbs...
  17. Got a largemouth just under 3 pounds this morning and a smallie that was exactly 2 pounds... I'll post pics later...
  18. When you go on bassresource in financing class You start a fishing team at your high school Spend at least an hour a day reading/watching something to do with fishing Guilty of all three
  19. I doubt they would be able to eat a 8" hudd LOL...
  20. I am looking to get one of these for my canoe, it will be my first time using electronics for fishing. I really want to be able to distinguish drop offs/ ledges, etc. will this get the job done? Thanks
  21. Looks like you were fishing in your fish tank again....
