I'd want to have the hook ripped out of me, rather than trying to pass them.... LOL I always remove the hook from the fish, If they end up dying and it's not a species that enjoy eating than I put it in my dad's compost pile... Ultimately giving life back...

I was fishing with bigfoot this one time and hooked into at least 15 pounder. Bigfoot had the entire thing on video!!! Sadly on the way back to the car we were abducted by aliens and lost the footage in the process.

Next month all fish will be measured the same way however that may be, that's for sure. I know it is a competition but let's get real here and get back to FISHING, not measuring. Everyone please start giving suggestions that will make this thread better for next month...

Got two that will cull, not by much but will cull... I call the one on the top 16 (it is shifted left an inch) and the other one 15.5 17.5" 16" 16" 16" 15.5" Total 81"

If you look at Nice_Bass' post on the last page you see him make a comment about next month we get a bit stricter and all fish must be measured with their mouths closed (the proper way). If you look at the picture he posted there isn't one part of the tail that sticks out more than the other, that would be the reason why. I don't think anyone has measured with the mouth closed and to the shortest part of the tail though besides Nice_Bass

17.5" , 2.5 lbs Here is a pic of a fish I caught earlier this year that was a little over 2.5lbs... Kinda a similar angle...

My dad caught a 46" striper that was 40lbs, in the article it said he broke a length record with 44"? Maybe they mean't 54"??

These are my big rage craw bass from this year, my favorite bait and soft plastic company out there...

With a longer leader, the hook and bait are further away from the weight. Possibly enticing more finicky bass compared to a shorter leader where the weight is closer to the bait.

Got a 16" yesterday to cull one of my 15inchers, puts me at 79.5". I need to start culling all of mine!!! The 17.5" isn't bad but 15"

I thought I only had one pic (which i posted), but I have two, one looks 16.5" the other might be 16.75"

One more paycheck and I'll be a very happy camper!
