  2. I use a dobyns champion 733 with a curado 201 i. I think the 734 is a bit over powered for me, the 733 loads just right IMO .
  3. During a tournament once I had 2 bluegill I found spit up in the livewell that were about 5" long each. Besides that I've seen trout spit up from bass. Nothing too odd.
  4. I got 2 of the flash carp 175s, my shop didn't sell in minutes.
  5. I've fished both rods and prefer my Dobyns DX702 sf over all. Wanting to try the new zillion rods also. If you do have to choose between those two, megabass is they way I'd go.
  6. I've found a few lucky crafts in the striper lakes and some old hudds. Heard of guys out here finding things like triple trouts, deps and hinkles.
  7. Rod-Dobyns DX744 Reel-Shimano Metanium Baits: 1. TNT baits wadda jig 1/2oz brown 2. TNT baits claymore jig 3. Pro worms 5" straight tail worm 4. River2sea whopper plopper 5. GYB senko Lake: CA Delta
  8. For me I've pulled at least 4+ lb fish out every trip jig fishing. Although I'm fishing some pretty productive water with larger fish(Cali delta).
  9. If you haven't came to Cali yet or booked a trip,Andy Cuccia is on some good fish on the delta right now. Guides for the delta that I'd recommend are Vince Borges or Andy Cuccia, both are phenomenal guides out there.
  10. Pro worms 5" finesse worm
  11. I'd say the curado I is better than the curado e series, as good as the chronarch ci4 and cheaper and compared to my metanium, it's a better bang for the buck since it's 200+ less and feels similar to it aside from weight difference and light bait castability.
  12. Ummmm.... This is an obvious one but the slide swimmer 250 catches them every where I go has quickly become my go to big bait. The drawing power is ridiculous on that bait.
  13. River2sea, phenix and some custom brands
  14. Late July, 103 degrees out at around 4 o'clock. It was 10 lbs 11oz and would've pushed an easy 12-13lbs if it was spring.
  15. I'm up there every week. They wouldn't hit topwater for me or reaction for the last 3 trips. They've been hitting baits with a slower presentation like flipping.
  16. You can never have enough. I have 17 rods, 19 reels, 23 Plano boxes and many gallon ziplocks filled with plastics. This month alone ive spend over $800 just on swimbaits and I'm only 17. I'm scared to see what I'll have by the time I'm 30.
  17. Best ever used is my tricked out shimano metanium xg. I would like to own an Antares and try one as well. For spinning it would have to be my daiwa certate 2506. That reel is beyond smooth.
  18. Mine is 10lbs 11oz on a TNT baits wadda jig. She was caught in July and all spawned out. Easy 12-13+ lb fish if she was caught during spring. Caught another that went 8lbs that day, probably would have been a DD in the spring.
  19. Depends on the type of year for me. Late spring- summer- early fall it's the jig for me. Winter- early spring-late fall it's the big swimbait.
  20. Try trackletour for enthusiast tackle, unfortunately I haven't used a destroyer x7 so I couldn't tell you how they are, I've only used the x4 and xx
  21. Rico popper or megabass flap slap around shad works well
  22. I have the core 101 and 51, steez and metanium. Personally the metanium is my favorite.
  23. I throw 10-15lb fluoro with a TNT baits football jig in brown or the m80 spotted bass jig in spec ops.
