  1. Thanks for that KVD link, I might throw $10 his way after reading it.
  2. Sorry, I fixed it...
  3. OK Cool! I just found out a few hours ago, after 3 months of searching and banging my head against the wall, the maker of this lure: It's a hard one (I hope, otherwise I'll feel pretty stupid if somebody gets it quickly...), and if it goes on past this time tomorrow, I'll give the answer unless ya'll don't want me to...
  4. Worden's FLatfish?
  5. Cool, but what does it do for you? Longer casts? Does it work for mono?
  6. Where do you guys park? I work only 15 minutes from there and wouldn't mind hitting it for an extended lunch or after work.
  7. Green/White Spinnerbait, Chartreuse/shad Bandit 100, or a Trickworm (whatever color...).
  8. Last year, like everyone else, water levels were really low where I fish, and I was killing them on wake baits. I was using the Bulgin B2, and a Bandit footloose... I'm almost hoping for another drought this year...
  9. I bought some Reel Magic and honestly cannot tell a difference. I use it on my baitcaster reel and the guild loops as they suggest, and I can't tell if I'm getting any benefit from it. I use it on my spinning tackle too, but same thing... Is it me, or should I buy the KVD version?
  10. Bagley's Bulgin' B2 and B3 are some big thick shallow cranks. I love them, they are wake baits. Bagley BB3s square lip run from 0-3 feet, and are also excellent.
  11. I like to throw a big squarebilled balsa crankbait and would start with that. But I think a weightless soft plastic would do best.
  12. I have caught most of my largest bass on buzzbaits.
  13. The Lunker City Salad Spoon is my favorite bait for scum, or any other vegetation on top of the water. I would try a single bladed willow leaf spinnerbait too. And you can never go wrong with a weightless trickworm slowly pulled across the bottom scum.
  14. I almost bought the bass magic. The ones I opened didn't smell like anything, but they were a few dollars higher, so I went with the strike kings... I'll try your idea and air these puppies out, then douse them in something.
  15. I opened a few packages today, and they all smell like magicmarkerx1000...Whoa, it made me a little dizzy, then again, I kept smelling it all the way home... Will this strong smell affect the bass's reaction to it?
  16. HEre is a link to an ebay store selling some. Pictures are smaller, but definitely Cultiva/Owner http://stores.ebay.de/Mannhaden-s-Wobbler-Shop_Owner_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQfsubZ15545345QQftidZ1QQtZkm
  17. The guy selling it claims it's a cultiva lure, and the packaging near the top of the box does look like cultiva/owner packaging... A google search of RAIZO CRANK LR shows several other entries, ebay and otherwise, linked with Cultiva...
  18. Ceeerap. I have about 4 of those, and can't remember the dang name...
  19. That bump is hollow and open at both ends. It is supposed to create a unique vortex wake trail, and some sound. Whether it does or not, I dunno, but the Cyclone and the Griffon both have them and they both put fish in the boat like crazy.
  20. All very good, but that Cyclone is the right up there with the best crankbaits that I have ever fished. They are big fish magnets, never got a dink on them. I went swimming a lot last year, at $15 -25 a pop, I was not letting a little murky water have my bait...
  21. A Zoom WEC?
  22. Lee Sisson Skinny P?
  23. I've seen the Lucky Craft 'Style' and Megabass 'Styled' baits on Ebay and have tried some, to my disappointment... I have tried Megabass knock offs and they suck. Terrible paint (soft and it smells like varnish), bad job on the mold (file marks, odd random divots and dings), different chambers inside, different sound, etc etc etc. I expect Lucky Craft Knock Offs aren't of much better quality. You would be happier with a real LC or Megabass lure, I think. Plus, why support what is nothing more than blatant theft? I know many companies produce very very similar baits as their competitors, but they at least change it up a little bit... But those knockoffs on Ebay are stolen designs, and badly put together.
  24. I like digging those rebel craws right into the bottom and making a trail in the mud and bouncing them off every bit of rock and wood that I can. You will lose a few, but they're relatively cheap. That crank has been around for years, and it almost always produces when nothing else will.
  25. I totally agree with that, but that is not how it is being marketed. Cajun Red and similar lines like it keep promising that they are revolutionary and invisible and will catch you a million more fish... Just another ploy of the Bait Monkey...
