I fished them for a summer and ended up giving them all away. I didn't like the fact they can't be tuned and they had a nasty habit of whirrlygigging when ya cast them. Not a big deal on a spinning rod but a nightmare with a caster. Brian.

That got me thinking, so I took my 2 out of the rack and gave them a spin. I don't feel any resistance what so ever, smooth as glass and free as a bird. I'd just open it up and see how much grease is in it. Brian.

I'm rich, got 2 beer case boxes full of xr25's. 50's and 75's. I got them out of a closeout box at Cabela's a year or so ago at $1.98 each. Brian.

They don't surprise me at all anymore. Sent a reel from PA-GA, it left on a wend., fri. morning it was in CA, mon. afternoon it was delivered to GA. I guess they thought it needed a US tour, no wonder they're broke. Tough luck though Lee. Brian.

Lew's customer service is outstanding. I sent 2 reels in for servicing and they mailed them back to the wrong address. When I seen it said they were delivered I called them and informed them I didn't receive them. They realized the error and overnited me 2 brand new reels. The one reel was out of production and they replaced it with a Team Lew's Gold. That was awesome. Brian.

That's about the same time frame I went through 3 new Diawa's in a weeks span, most not making it through the first day. I've had a hard time buying their products anymore. Really dissapointing to have $200-$300 reels go down after a few hour fishing. Brian.

My pins are all white, I run 2 on, 0 on mag, and spool tension just enough to remove side to side on the spool. If I'm throwing light baits into the wind, enough mag to keep from overruns. Brian.
