  1. It said brackets are open and ready for selection .
  2. I had it for two months in a big toe . The wind hurt . Now I take a prescription daily for it . I feel for you .
  3. That exact lure has been in my box for two years now and I keep overlooking it . I'll have to tie it on next season .
  4. My main deep diving rod is an inexpensive "Lady" Guide series with pink ascents , I found on clearance at Gander Mountain for twenty dollars . The bass make fun of it . Its 7'0" MH . Its paired with a Johnny Morris reel 5.2 to 1 .
  5. Yeah , I can swim and it came in handy a couple of times .
  6. I dont have a favorite brand , color .... Once the red hot muddy water/spring time spinnerbait bite slams shut , I simply go with smaller blades and duller skirts . Something like this is a good summer-time/clear water bait .
  7. Gets me every time .
  8. In clear water I like dull and baitfish looking colors . I'm not real picky I just choose something that is not bright . Blades I use whatever floats my boat . Gold and chrome blades work equally well .
  9. The makers of Fish Grip have some on a video but I havent seen them on the market yet .
  10. I listed buzzbaits . My favorite is my hand poured and I incorporate a stair step design similar to the Cavitron . Not saying mine is better than the Cavitron but its mine .
  11. The brim is suppose to stay in place and it also floats . It was the top choice for boating in one of the reviews I read .
  12. My favorite lure to use is a buzzbait . They are a blast . They dont catch the most fish though . This past summer was a good buzzbait season .
  13. I got them and the Norman Scorpion for fishing wood . Man made brushpiles , laydowns, beaver houses ... The Scorpion is a classic lipless design . I'm thinking it will work at slower speeds .
  14. I'm not saying glitter doesnt make a difference at times . I dont think I used any glitter this past year . I used blue and some sort of purple shad color the most . I cant keep up with all the names they give plastics .
  15. I have a hat looks the same from Jacobson . I wear it in mild weather when I'm kicking around in the woods .
  16. I actually have two ordered . Then I found out about the Norman Scorpion and ordered two of those also . We should be set to fish crankbaits inside of brush next year .
  17. I read up on everyones suggestions then ordered something else . I picked the Outdoor Research Sombriolet Sun Hat. The Adventure hat I was afraid would be too dorky looking to wear other than fishing .
  18. There are people on this forum buying their "first" baitcasting combo paying more than I ever had .
  19. The local wal mart has a Abu Black Max combo for 60 dollars . You could buy five of them .
  20. Well over 90 percent of my bass come from four categories . Texas rigs , crankbaits , buzzbaits and spinnerbaits . I think every bass I caught last year came on one of them.
  21. I'd like to have some of those worms that come with the aquacone .
  22. I'm checking them all out .
  23. I need a new hat this summer , Boonie type . I have a hard time in the heat and humidity so I need whatever keeps me the coolest . Any recommendations . Ive been looking at Columbia . REI , Ourdoor Reseach and others .
