  4. This rod is outstanding and I got one for your price for practically brand new so deals are out there if not the st croix mojo bass lineup has an awesome cranking stick line within the mojo bass line. It depends what you want graphite go with the avid glass go with the mojo Tight lines Andrew

Once you get used to braid and realize the versatility you have with it the more you'll appreciate it (at least in my opinion) I use braid on every rod i own except for my cranking stick. just tie on leaders and you are ready to cover any situation you may encounter to measure my leaders I tie an alberto knot and then crank till my knot is just above the line guide on your reel then cut it and tie on your bait i use power pro and recently am starting to switch to sunline sx1 and fx2 this line is great and will be what I get when its time to respool. Thats another thing braid lasts extremely long and when you need to change it you just pull it all out and reverse the line because it has no memory tight lines Andrew

Lol I was In a tourney and landed the fish in my avatar and as I was unhooking her she thrashed and stuck me pretty good with one of three trebles on the Smithwick deep diving rogue (man those things are sharp) anyway with adrenaline going from catching a 5 pounder on the third cast I didn't really pay attention to it and went back to fishing only to realize I was bleeding when I saw blood on the frame 15 minutes later lol Tight lines Andrew
