  6. 7 to 7'6" is a good choice. as far as reels abu's 2nd genereation orra is what I use. lews reels would be a great second choice.as long as it has an aluminum frame for strength.
  7. as long as you use abec 5 or 7, either one will be great. I've used both and can't tell the difference between em.
  8. will try that out this weekend. gonna be punchin mats. looks awesome.

  20. see above and apply………….
  21. best answer yet. but then again I'm biased to abu reels. maybe a lews. but for me an second generation orra would fill the bill. 100 dollar bill.
  22. I live 40 minutes away from Mudhole and get all my building components there. very helpful, friendly staff. can and will answer all your questions. if I lived closer to DVT that's where I'd get my stuff.
  23. fished west lake toho in the wind today. holy crap it was rough !!!!!!!!! moved into shingle creek early and caught a quick limit. nothing to write home about. 8 lbs. only 21 limits were caught. 88 fishermen 2 over 8 lbs. not a great day. wind was howling all day. reports from a lot of guys that the water was muddy everywhere they went. very few made the run to kissimee. same results. we need a break from the high winds. slight breeze is ok but this howling needs to go away.
