  1. love the Slider lures. use a lot of the 3-4 grubs, the original small swimbait.
  2. this again………..
  3. does anyone out there fish out of an airboat. I use 1 about 2 weekends a month to get access to places that my boat won't get to. If you do what mods have you made.I've added a trolling motor, stick it anchor pole, rod racks, etc. not a lot of room so tackle choices are critical. 3-4 combos enough gear that I can fit in 2 dry boxes.gotta keep it light.
  4. 10-15 lb. big game depending on the cover.heavier if throwing in heavy timber.20-25 lb.
  5. would do it again in a heartbeat. the only thing keeping me from taking the dive is my wife. that's not gonna last much longer. LOL !!!!!!!
  6. how do you like the Winn Grips, been looking to do them on my next build.
  7. no,I use power pro super8 or spiderwire. have no problems at all. also if you have any questions you can call mudhole and they are more than helpful.
  8. I have the same blank. used fuji micros all the way. mud hole has an online guide placement chart works like a charm.
  9. have 24 right now.works for me but like almost everyone else, end up using 5-6 most of the time.never want to get caught without the one combo when the time is right.
  10. being in central FL, I get to go all over the state and try a little bit of everything.
  11. big game for everything but punching or heavy flipping then braid
  12. owner riggin hooks with a gambler bb cricket is what I use when I go small.nice short hook, strong, sharp as all get out.
  13. east west north or south I'm going to go and catch something. unless it's unsafe to be on the water.I don't care how the wind blows just work with it the best I can.
  14. I'm as left handed as it gets, rod never leaves my left hand. reel with the right, both spinning and casting. when I first started fishing was given a spinning reel that had handle on left side and I would turn it upside-down to reel it!!!!!! cannot reel with my left hand to save my life.rod has to be in left hand period.
  15. good all around rod, great spinnerbait rod.
  16. I use both types,4600c4 and revos, orras. they all have there place . i use 1 round reel for jig flipping, and 3 low profile for the other flippers. and a combination of round, low profile for other types. I just can't get rid of my round reels, they just seem to work better for me at times.
  17. I started using it for flipping, tried it on spinning tackle but prefer regular power pro. it casts better on casting tackle also.
  18. got a bunch off ebay for a rally good price. just looked at sieberts and am going to order from them, great price.
  19. palomar,with spit………..tie it really slow.again, with spit.
  20. would buy/pay the extra money for a Ranger any day………but wait I have a Ranger…..and yes I bought it new from a dealer that was retiring and gave me a great deal. but have never had a problem with it or Ranger themselves, even got the deck extension thrown in along with a cover. but Nitro does make a rally good boat. have been in the new Z20 and it is a sweet riding, nice boat to fish out of. but choosing a boat,I think is harder than choosing a wife/girlfriend. you don't mind paying for the boat……...
  21. 1 word……………………WOW !!!!!!!
  22. I have optimas in my truck, boat, lawnmower. proper charging, good clean connections make all the difference. a good battery, no matter what brand will last as long as you take care of it.
  23. cork or eva it really doesn't matter. being that I've been making my own rods lately I like a shorter handle than most. split or full length don't matter either.
  24. I am considering a war eagle also, want to see one up close though. my buddy has a ranger aluminum with a 115 etech. that's the other boat I'm looking at.
