  1. also check with airbnb sites or similar. I live on the space coast and there are tons of places to stay. also close to the stick marsh.
  2. also the bass assassin shad is another good choice I know it's not a swimbait but it is killer this time of year down here.native shiner is a good color to start with.
  3. charlie brewer slider worms…..3 or 4 inch.
  4. pitzen will work when all else fails…..that's what Shaw Grigsby says.
  5. have 2,love both cast's a mile, smooth as all get out. but darn they are light !!!!!! had to get used to that after using my 4600's.
  6. mine cast's a mile......check to see if there is to much oil or grease in it.otherwise check with DVT they'll have an answer.
  7. slow down.........use smaller baits........like Turkey sandwich said take a deep breath and learn. we all go through it. now if we only had a 12 step for people like us...........
  8. all my casing reels are abu, promax, blackmax. orra's revo's etc. have some older abu's as well, pro max 1600's 4600c3-c4s also. have used lews, daiwa, shimano. and just keep coming back to abu's. don't have anything bad to say about other brands but abu's seem to fit me better.
  9. c or d will work. but make sure you get them balanced. makes a big difference. d will last a little longer.
  10. ditto…..match color of line to the water conditions.
  11. carlisles or goodyear marathon radials. the best tires for trailering, period. I sell these at my shop. and use them myself. either one will be good.
  12. it's still the best big bass bait I know of. well at least here in Fl……………..
  13. the only issue that I've had with trying to flip out of a yak is lack of leverage.that's why I don't flip to much out of them much.
  14. stick with Big Game,if it frays with Big Game it will fray with just about anything out there. experience has taught me that !!!!!! the only other mono I use is Ande, made for saltwater. you can try that.good luck.
  15. thicker line will cause it to run shallower, thus thinner line will run deeper. retrieve speed, rod angle, length of cast all pays into lure depth. a rattlin rapala will sink if not reeled in right away so letting it settle after the cast you can also adjust depth. play around with all of this to see what works for you. good luck.
  16. AMEN………….
  17. see above……….perfectly said
  18. stick with the same baits you would use during the day,but start with a darker shade and experiment with different speeds till the fish tell you what they want.
  19. all year…...worm,frog,beaver,topwater plug,lipless crankbait,squarebill, not in that order…………..oh yeah spinnerbait,swim bait,hard jerk bait,soft jerk bait, oh god make me stop…………..!!!!!!!!
  20. try hard jerk baits, topwater plugs…..keep em moving.peacocks like moving baits.sometimes faster the better.try different retrieves to find out what works best.good luck they are a blast to catch.
  21. Spook……hands down the best ever……more fish on that topwater bait than all others combined…….well maybe.
  22. abu pro max3…got 2 of em….love em.
  23. Team9nine….that's awseome. just perfect
  24. a really good seat is important, anchor stick, keeping it light is everything.best depth finder you can get also. wish I had my first one back !!!!!
