LOL! I had fishing on my laptop and the Daytona 500 and PGA on my TV on split screen. You would have slept well at my house.

It is a a GREAT video!!! He seems like such a good man. I guess that's what got me the most. I just feel like he was a salt of the earth guy that left this world way too soon.

I DO NOT cry!!! I'm crying. Stop it at the 20 minute mark to save yourself some tears.

Obviously not a lot of race fans here, but these cars are not made for super speedways. Hopefully they will perform better at shorter tracks. If a driver is able to get a run, he just causes a wreck. They need to at least allow the garage to make the cars better. Overall, it wasn't a good race. Hoping for better things to come.

Things are going to get interesting later in the week. Weather is going to change drastically on Wed and Thur. Will be interesting to see how they do. May be Thur and Fri down there, Wed and Thur will be here.

My story does not involve hooks, but it is a moron moment for sure. I went out one day and launched the boat and had my life jacket on as usual and hooked up to the kill switch. Ran to my first spot and took my life jacket off. Fished for a little bit and went to move and my motor wouldn't start. Sounded like it was trying to crank, but nothing. Tried and tried till I was afraid my battery was about dead. Called a buddy to meet me at the ramp when he got off work. There was NO ONE on the lake so I trolled back to the ramp, about an hour and a half. I pulled the cowling and was messing with the fuel filter, carb , etc. My buddy showed up and we could not figure out what was going on. Finally, I thought that maybe when I took my life jacket off I flipped the kill switch. Sure enough, that was it. Flipped it and she fired right up. I missed out on 4 hours of fishing because I was a dummy.

My 08 is paid for so I will drive it as long as possible. My wife keeps telling me to buy a new one, but not having a payment sure is nice.

Hunting, golfing and fishing are just an escape for me. Nothing to worry about (unless I'm in a money game on the course) just there to take it all in. I can sit in the tree stand and watch the sun rise and the woods come to life and it is so peaceful. I can hit three poor shots and then chip one in and feel like I am Tiger Woods. Fishing for me, is just a way to get out and enjoy myself. I won't lie, there have been days where I just put the rods down, take my shoes and socks off and sit on the side of the boat and put me feet in the water just to relax. If I find myself stressing about fishing, I remind myself to just relax. Sometimes it's just riding around the lake or laying on the deck listening to the radio. Fishing is when my life slows down enough to be able to reflect on many things and appreciate all I have in this world. Much like sitting in a tree stand, it allows me to just sit there and think about the life I have been given.

That's nice. I might can buy a 2019 Silverado in 2039 LOL

I don't know why anyone would order one just because they saw someone have success with it. I ordered three because if I only bought one I would probably lose it.

I always guess the weight before they way them and I am generally fairly close. However, when Andy Morgan catches one, I am about a pound off. LOL He must be a tall guy because they don't look as big when he is holding them.

Here we go! National Anthem and fly over were good, now let's hope the racing is. Going to be interesting to see if there is much racing or a lot of follow the leader. I'm pulling for the 5 car but wouldn't mind if the 9 won it.

I think FFS is going to drastically change the way people think about and approach catching fish, even those who don't have the technology but they see people have success doing things we didn't really think would work in certain situations.

Super easy to replace, at least they were on my Merc 150. I just ordered them off Amazon and it literally took no time. I replaced them both even though it was the down one giving me problems.

Are they done weighing in? I have Lee Livesay and Hackney with 0's. EDIT - It just updated, they at least caught some fish. Only 3 left fishing though.

Well, just got home from our 2nd league game this week. Things are going way better than I expected. On Monday we were ahead 28-1 at half time and I told them no more layups in the 2nd half that we had to run the offense and shoot jump shots. Final score, 47-3. Tonight, the score at the half was 36-2. I told them the same thing. Final score 51-6. So 98-9 after two games. I sure hope the competition gets better.
