  1. BTW, let's see your bass pics. Or is a generic pic off the net all you have to offer?
  2. Lol, a little Nancy boy wanna be figure skater got his little g-string in a bunch. I knew I could get to you non athletic sissy's.
  3. Electrical tape. You wont ever get down to it.
  4. Hockey and Soccer, probably the worst sports ever invented. Hockey is for wanna be figure skaters who can't dance and think they are tough. Soccer is for guys who have no other athletic ability aside from being able to run around for long periods and kick a ball far. The NFL uses those guys for extra points when the real athletes get off the field. I would rather watch a WNBA game as opposed to watching either one of those.
  5. Long casts are often poor casts and over exaggerated. I was fishing with a buddy this past weekend and the wind was really blowing. I threw a lipless crank and it caught some wind and went a long ways. My buddy said "geez that went far" To which I replied "yeah, hope nothing hits it because I won't be able to set the hook"
  6. For me a successful fishing trip means that the boat ran well, nothing broke, I didn't have a blow out on the trailer, I didn't get pulled over and I didn't fall in the lake (all those things have happened at one time or another). The catching is secondary to all that.
  7. I use a trailer hook, so no trailer for me.
  8. WOW!!!!! I didn't really get to see him play a lot because of my age, but I had always heard about him. I didn't really think of him as being such an influential person (I always thought of Jack as the man) but I had seen this upcoming documentary of him during the GC coverage of the Masters. I tuned in to it tonight and I was amazed at the impact he had, not only on the sport of golf, but on the international scope as well. If you are a golf fan and you missed it, I suggest you try to catch it if you can. Pretty good stuff.
  9. Me neither. I don't want to be his Co-Angler when he decides he is going to stroke the Texas rig.
  10. I would think some companies would start printing depths on the bait somewhere. I am pretty good at telling by the lip size of the approximate depth, but it would help to have it printed on there.
  11. LOL, I said it the last time that video was posted. It shows nothing.
  12. I use 50 lb Sufix braid and 15 lb Seaguar red label fluoro. I have been happy with it so far.
  13. I hope thats what he meant.
  14. Just went outside and put this to a test. Took the same set-up that I used this past weekend and didn't change a thing on it. I was using a Daiwa Tatula 6.3 (brake setting on 4) on a Duckett Ghost 7' M with 14lb Sufix Elite. I was casting an Xcalibur xcs100(2" - 1/2 oz) and the wind was blowing 6-8 mph from the south. I made 10 casts, all straight to the East and my shortest was 32.5 and the longest was 39.7(verified by a Nikon prostaff RF), for an average of 36.1. I am sure there are guys getting more, but I would be stunned if people were averaging 50+ yards with a square bill.
  15. Anyone who says they are casting 50+ yards with a square bill, doesn't know how far 50 yards is.
  16. It costs a lot of money to be able to put that Dr. in front of your name.
  17. 2 Get some scales or a soft tape measure and you won't have to guess or have a bunch of people look at a pic and guess.
  18. I guess us Okies are different. We make and share and never expect an empty bottle. I suppose it is different up north.
  19. 20 lb Fluoro is tough to handle. Why the need for line that big? To me, 15 lb Fluoro is almost to big. I prefer 15 lb Seaguar Red label but I only use it for leaders. When I used Fluoro to cast with, I used 10-12 lb.
  20. IMHO, 40 or 50 lb braid handles better than any other that I have tried.
  21. Really? You give someone something and expect them to give part of it back? I have never heard of such.
  22. Sorry, I couldn't really follow your post.
  23. Not his first time. He won in 2012
  24. I have 4 tatulas that I bought for $103 ea and they are GREAT reels. I also use Ducket ghost series rods. So, I have about $200 per combo in my set ups. They perform very well. I would venture to say that they are as good or even better than my Curado/Crucial combos that I used last season.
