  1. This nature you guys talk about must include guys in outboards doing 70 mph across the lake, people in wave runners shooting donuts and people talking, LOL. That's usually what I hear when I am expecting silence. Now, a tree stand, that is a different story.
  2. I have heard that band on a trivia deal I think. I don't remember any of the members, but I think it was Page or Plant, and maybe Clapton??? Not going to Google and ruin it.
  3. Not really a joke, just a conversation I just had with my 8 year old. Trying to be the wise old man I am, I said "Hey son, did you know that racecar spelled backwards is also racecar?" To which he replied "Yes, I knew that, and did you know poop is the same way?" I just gave him a high five and said "You win"
  4. I don't rock out, but I do feel like having some music to listen to helps pass the time and keep me in a positive mood. This year about half way through the season, during basketball practice we started letting our HS girls listen to music while doing drills. We found that their intensity level and focus seemed to actually go up. Music can be a point of focus and a system to release energy that otherwise may be kept inside.
  5. That's what I find interesting when people argue over .7 oz making a difference. Most of the time we probably can't even tell the difference in a few oz's.
  6. LOL, that Curado out weighs the Tatula by 2.6 oz and I am sure that Mojo rod weighs more than the Tatula rod (couldn't verify weights) but you thought the Tatula "felt very heavy" Interesting thoughts. All four of my Tatulas are very smooth. Maybe you got a bad one with a bunch of extra metal in it, making it heavy and not very smooth.
  7. Depends, but most of the time a classic rock station.
  8. That's my goal. I have a key to my house, car, shop, gate, other house, moms house, moms pastures, middle school, elementary school, gym, football field, gym concession, football concession, elementary gym, church gym, fire station, etc. etc. etc. TOO MANY KEYS!!!!
  9. Do you ever look at your key ring and wonder, what does this key go to??? I guess it's maybe because I am a teacher and get keys to different buildings, but I have keys to storage buildings and gates that I have no idea where they go. So, do you ever look at a key and wonder what in the world it goes to?
  10. Okay, I got a new one today. So, my cell phone starts ringing and its a number from South Carolina. I always answer my phone because I love giving telemarketers crap. Anyway it is a guy from Direct TV, he tells me this call is being recorded yada, yada, yada. So then he proceeds to tell me about a "special package" I have got for being a valued customer. He tells me it is free for three months and if I don't like it, all I have to do is call and cancel. I say "not interested" He says "but wait"....I say "IM NOT INTERESTED" I then tell him that we are both speaking English and I am not stuttering and if he didn't get what I was saying, then maybe he needed a new job. He then told me he needed to put me on hold to confirm that I didn't want the package. After being on hold for 10 min. I hung up. I have been calling back for an hour, but have yet to speak to a person. I can't wait till I do though, it shall be fun.
  11. Favre may have some brain damage, but I still don't think he is dumb enough to play for the Raiders.
  12. I took a couple good right crosses to the chin one time, I didn't hit back, but I can't say there wasn't an anaconda squeeze given.

Straight from the source: What a Fish story!Myth: WD-40 contains fish oil. Fact: Consumers have told us over the years that they have caught some of the biggest fish ever after protecting their fish hooks and lures with WD-40. We believe this legend came from folks assuming that the product must contain fish oil since it appears to attract fish. Sorry Charlie®, it just ain’t so. WD-40 Company has taken steps to respect and conserve the environment, and encourages its users to do the same. While WD-40 can be used to help protect fishing equipment from rust and corrosion, WD-40 Company does not recommend using WD-40 to attract fish.

Do you normally take advice on things from people who don't even do those things????
  15. I'm calling 911 and letting them deal with it. Just like in your case, the man and woman were fine after the fact and she attacked you for stepping in. He could have just as easily as shot you if you weren't Mike Tyson.
  16. This is about shakey head vs texas rig. Both of which can be rigged weedless
  17. Just hooking it weedless makes it a Texas rig? Where is the rig part of that?
  18. Well, so far, 2 OT games and a one point game have ruined my bracket. Now, it looks like OU may be doomed.
  19. People who fill out 20 NCAA brackets and act like they have accomplished something when they have one good one. I fill out ONE bracket. I may enter more than one contest, but I fill it out the same every time. If you fill out more than one different one, then you are WEAK. Rant over.
  20. The only thing I can think of when I hear the word Okuma is Scott Martin, LOL.
  21. So you just hook a Senko weedless then? Before this thread I never realized how big of a hassle carrying weights can be. I wonder what some people do with their change?? Just toss it because it is too much to carry around.
  22. LOL, how can you have No 1 be a part of a Texas rig, and it be optional????
  23. They will both last you for as long as you need. You will get a better deal on the G series though. I fished the G series last year and they are a good solid reel. However, now that the I series is out the Shimano fanboys will tell you that it is quite possibly the best reel ever made. I haven't held one, but they might be imported from Heaven according to what I hear.
  24. Michigan St is winning bad. They have 5 white guys on the floor.
