A Couple Nice Ones
I went Friday night to the local pond and saw a couple fish up shallow and worked them all night with no luck. I went back Saturday morning determined to catch them. When I approached the area, I could see the little guy from yesterday and then I saw this dark colored torpedo cruising by and realized that was the big girl…. So I spent a while trying to catch them. No scales or ruler, but not even mad about it this time! After much trial and error, I finally caught the smaller guy to commit to a Missile Baby D Bomb…. TWICE. I caught him twice on that same bait, but 2 different colors. He would pick up a worm, pick up a jig, but not commit until he saw that baby d bomb and he inhaled it! After catching him twice I decided to ease around the pond and let the area settle down. I came back an hour or so later and was determined to catch the big girl and more so, determined to catch it on a newer combo that hadn’t yet seen a fish! I had some 40# braid with a 15# floro leader tied to a Siebert’s Finesse Jig in PBJ Smoke color. What finally got this girl to eat though, was the Damiki Air Craw trailer I added, if you haven’t seen them, check them out. I watched her pick it up and take off and when I set the hook she got ill! The new Cumara 6’8”MH and the Chronarch Ci4+ handled her like it was nothing! These selfies aren’t doing it justice, but this fish was a butterball! Awesome day out even with the wind ripping.

March Madness!
that is correct, louisville vs nc state and as a serious life long heels fan, it hurts to pay duke compliments..... but d**n it they are solid this year aside from a couple shaky games (nc state regular season/notre dame acc tournament)

First Time Using Fish Finder On Kayak
first, maybe the mods will move this to the electronics section where you will maybe bump into Wayne P who is a fish finder guru. aside from that, my only advice with that model is turn the fish ID mode off... that thing is useless. start learning how to see the fish from the arcs on the screen and it will be far more useful than the fish ID mode. only other thing is to ask how/where you have the transducer mounted?

March Madness!
i figured i would find something like this when i got on here today.... that was one heck of a game from the pack! 4 ACC teams left, 3 of them from North Carolina.... If my heels and the pack see the elite 8 it may be nothing short of a miracle! but Duke may be headed to the big dance for real...

March Madness!
i don't bet on sports either, brackets like this are way worse odds than any lottery..... i just can't get enough of those last second exciting finishes... that's what the first 4 days of the tournament are all about!! yesterday did not disappoint!

Father & Son Swim Jig
very nice!

March Madness!
The Madness is in full effect!!! This is why I love College b-ball! Yesterday had some of the best games on that you can witness with half of them being decided by 3 points or less! Nice win at the buzzer for NC state Whitwolf.... I'm just glad the heels somehow held their act together and won that game.....

Bank Fishing In Georgia
right where hwy 92 crosses over the lake/lakes.... you can fish both sides of the road (both lakes - allatoona and acworth) plenty of bank access on the acworth side of things.

Most Unpretentious Fishing Show Host
i agree, he seems like he has a ton of fun filming his outdoor shows. he seems genuinely excited and appreciative of each fish he lands. i like his show.

Newest Arrival Of Siebert Jigs
Just got my latest order in and WOW am i happy with the custom color selections i made! 3 swimjigs 3 dredge jig heads w/ only rubber skirts (smaller profile, really cool) 3 dredge mata (silicone and rubber skirts, large profile, awesome) REALLY liking the bluegill flash swimjig, falcon craw mata dredge and the green black pumpkin mata dredge. Mike also had my order made and shipped in like 36 hours, i don't think the guy sleeps! Very nice work from a very nice guy!

Kayak Sizing Question
i have a ride 135 and fit that unit in the back of my nissan frontier pickup. i may get some odd looks sometimes, but it handles it great. i went from a 10' to the 13.5 and love the extra space. i'm VERY impressed with the lure 11.5's. i think they have one of the sweetest seats available. that would be a really tough decision for me between the lure 11.5 and the ride 115.... don't think you'll be let down either way!

Brackets
it will be a great tournament no doubt! It's going to be very hard to beat kentucky, but i think wisconsin could get it done if anybody can. i would not be surprised to see Arizona in the big game either.

Kayak Addition
so i have a wilderness ride 135 and love it. fish out of it every chance i get. my wife does not go, but she likes to take some leisurely paddles and weekend float trips on the chattahoochee river. we always borrow a yak from someone, but i decided to get one just for her. she had already pointed out this particular model a while back so i knew what she wanted, FINALLY pulled the trigger today. perception sport swifty 9.5 seems well made, decent seat, a little short but perfect for her. now maybe i can get her out on the water to do a little fishing!! (wishful thinking)

Skunkville
yep! you, me, my buddy, 3 other boats, their cousins....... everybody wanted to fish that area when we were out there. we paddled there to find a 3 boat train bombarding the bridge/bank/island area there. next time....
