How To Deal With Girlfriends/wives?
completely agree with you robert. i'm just glad we can both enjoy our own things individually. there is nothing i love more than fishing with my dad and brother. we've been doing it together a long time and i hope it continues. in fact, my wife and sister in law very much support the time that my dad, brother and I are able to spend together fishing. i should have also been pretty clear that i actually really enjoyed fishing with the wife the few times she has gone, but she wasn't in to it as much as me so i would never pressure her to go. but she can catch them pretty well...... MOST IMPORTANTLY --- learn how to compromise

Spin Reel $150 Price Range
Regardless of the country of origin, the pflueger spinning reels are tough to beat. i have a supreme MGX and a patriarch and honestly can't tell a difference in the two performance wise.... I'd buy the supreme every day at retail and if you find it cheap (like i did) it's a no-brainer. For me, the $100 point is the point of diminishing return on the spinning reels. I just don't see enough performance boost in the reels above $100 to justify that extra expense. but that's my very unprofessional opinion....

How To Deal With Girlfriends/wives?
for all the guys saying you need to find one that fishes.... i respectfully disagree. i LOVE the fact that fishing is my time! my wife has gone a couple of times with me and though she liked catching more fish than i did, she was not "hooked" so to speak. in my opinion, it is equally important to find things you can do separately as it is to find things to do together. once you have the respect for each other's hobbies or passions, you will learn to accept then foster their behavior towards those activities. Most important is just open honest communication NO MATTER WHAT. if you ever feel the need to lie or be sneaky, you're either in the wrong or with the wrong person.

Method For Color Selection?
about 75% of my plastics are green pumpkin. maybe 15% is black and the rest is whatever was on sale. i don't put too much stock into the color. last week i caught 3 fish on 3 different colors of a baby d bomb in the same pond within about 25 minutes of each other. leads me to believe that A. when they're feeding, it doesn't matter B. when you have the right presentation, lure, conditions, color is irrelevant

How To Deal With Girlfriends/wives?
Just like every other issue, you lay it all out up front. If you hide it, it's only a matter of time before it unravels. The only way i can imagine this would be a conversation is you didn't have enough money to do all the other things you need/want to do. What i spend on fishing is extra income that in no way interferes with my bills, savings, etc. This makes it a void topic for debate.

Lucky Craft Lc Wake Crankbaits
ok, may go with the 2.5 then. i think the weight of the 3.5 is a little much for me at 3/4oz

Lucky Craft Lc Wake Crankbaits
Does anyone have any experience with these baits? If so, please share. Also, which size do you have/prefer? I'm kind of in between the 1.5 and 2.5 size. Which rod setup would you fish these on a moderate action crankbait setup or a stiffer rod? Thanks!

Tatula Rods
i have the 6'10MHF casting rod as my spinnerbait/buzzbait rod and it's awesome. i don't think it can handle the lighter weight of the drop shot very well though.

Could I Get Sponsored?
I took his advice and googled it and just for the record, marketing not in the top 10 worst degrees.... in fact, it says it's the best value in 2015 according to Huffington Post Business.... http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/06/10/college-degrees-best-value_n_3414643.html http://www.forbes.com/sites/jennagoudreau/2012/10/11/the-10-worst-college-majors/

First Tourny Of The Year-Picture Added
nice job fellas! a win and big fish, that's dominating right there! that second bait you showed, the T rock, is nasty. when i'm done snagging the rest of your bladed jigs on something gnarly and have to order some more from you, please remind me to throw that one in the mix. that color is awesome.

Just Had To Post...great Officer
conservative estimate..... LOL i really honestly feel exactly the same way though. i'm happy when i get checked because it makes me feel like buying the thing was worth it all along! my buddy and i were check about a month ago after we came off the lake. He was very nice, asked how the fishing was, saw both of our license and said to have a good day, this is the usual scenario for me.

Homeownership, The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly
^^ don't think that was a stab by any means. what he says is the truest words you can hear when buying a house. no receipt or return policy once you make the commitment. my advice: make a 3 part list. 1. house must have these items 2. house cannot have any of these items 3. would be nice, but not a deal breaker put all your needs/wants into one of those buckets. as you start to look at houses/places you can easily check off which ones do/do not meet your criteria. once you find a place that meets the needs of lists 1 and 2, then starts to fulfill more and more of your wants from list 3, you know you've found the right place. this method worked VERY well for my wife and i as we hunted for our house in a ridiculously fast/cutthroat marketplace in the atlanta area.

Storing Keitech Swing Impact Fats In A Baggy.
i take most every plastic i have out of the original packing and put them into a worm bag i have that has ziploc style bags. That said, i keep the swing impacts in the clamshell because they're expensive and i don't want to lose the perfect straight action they have in that nice packaging.

Homeownership, The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly
Would a townhouse be an option? sounds like you may be able to balance out the best of both worlds.... and stay clear of that d**n yard work i speak of above.... yard work climaxes about the same time the spawning period is taking place, pure punishment!

Just Had To Post...great Officer
every time i've been checked the officers are typically very professional. so long as you can produce your license quickly and have no stringers or excessive limits in the livewell, it's a less than 5 minute ordeal. I actually enjoy it at times because it makes me feel like purchasing and carrying my license every year has paid off.

Homeownership, The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly
i was just coming here to say the yard work/upkeep on the exterior was more work than i anticipated...... BUT that wouldn't be much of a problem in a condo.....
