  1. well they didn't think we had them in these waters!! this is where i yak on the river the most. Literally about the halfway point on my buddy and I's favorite float spot! I might be a bit more apprehensive to let my little mini golden mutt swim for his tennis ball around that area!
  2. Yeah, a little tribute to the one, the only Steve Irwin.... Seems fitting for the recent discovery right here in ATL on the Chattahoochee!! http://www.ajc.com/news/news/local/chattahoochee-river-alligator-spotted-cob/nqhST/
  3. LOL, dude finished 24th in AOY last year.... so you're saying the other 90+ guys didn't "show up" either? "jealousy is the tribute mediocrity pays to genius" - Fulton Sheen
  4. evidently it's very obvious, but i can't see the forest for the trees or something like that.... i can tie a knot faster than i can open and close a swivel with my big goofy hands
  5. i'm certain they source them as well, but i meant to say that Tackle Warehouse doesn't have anything with their name on it aside from accessories, no actual rods, reels or baits.
  6. well you should know there is no direct correlation between post count and competency! And after visiting your google search, i'm still wondering what the OP and everyone else are referring to. Everything on the search are worms with 2 or 3 hooks in them from the manufacturer. I still don't follow....
  7. tell her you'll stuff her in the next purse she buys!
  8. not even being a smart*** here, i'm seriously wondering what is a pre-rigged plastic? you mean like with the hook in it already or with a leader line tied on or what?
  9. war eagle spinnerbait.... unlike plastics, they don't break down or get lost as easily. they can be found at a couple walmarts around and they flat out catch fish.
  10. well TW doesn't make anything they sell... if you're talking warranty you're talking manufacturer... if you're talking return policy then you're talking retailer.
  11. that's a great start there man! healthy looking fish!
  12. nevermind the weight, that's one purdy fish!
  13. yeah, they were losing momentum for sure.... going down that lame path of old spice commercials for a bit there. nevertheless, made that dude a bunch of money.... "most interesting millionaire in the world"
  14. LOL, i'd hesitantly say that tebow is better than having no QB?? hesitantly say that..... maybe the worst sports night of my life, draft night 2010... somehow managed to get 3 grade A turd QB's on the same roster (orton, tebow, quinn)
  15. thanks for that Goose... i have a Dobyns Champion 682C, but sounds like it's a beefier rod than the phenix 682 maybe? and my dobyns 682c feels to me like a true fast action rod... but that's my uneducated opinion on that matter. i'll probably try to get my hands on whatever i buy because as you said, i don't want to feel like a wet noodle, but soft enough to throw the baits i intended... thanks fellas! and now back to the regularly scheduled show "tackle junkies"
  16. thanks for that, the poppers/cranks i have in mind are 1/4 oz so that sounds like a good option for me. i'm a little overloaded on MH rods and looking to step one down to a ML or something like that so thanks for the info!
  17. very nice! this is what i'm looking for myself, something light enough to handle some small cranks, jerks or poppers.
  18. that's my wife there..... i assume it's the same look i have when she starts in on her recent clothing purchases....
  19. buzzed bait replied to pwahmy's topic in Fishing Tackle
white, disco violet or pro blue red pearl
  20. photos on their site show them in a 5 and 15 QTY, never heard of nor used them though
  21. hey adam, what you plan on throwing with that setup? just curious since it's a light casting rod what you intended to use it for?
  22. yeah i have 16# on my jig and worm rods and love the sunline, it changed my negative opinions on fluoro.
  23. rod glove or stick jackets work fine for me, my only issue with the rod sox is that big chunk of rubber on the bottom of them is a little too heavy for some of my spinning rods.
  24. WHOA that's hard to fathom!
  25. really weak man, don't even know why you'd post up 3 little fish all over 4 lbs..... JK i'm a little jealous....
