Ha! I wish. My PB smallie is 6lb 8oz. I've been trying to break the 7lb smallie mark for years now, I can't imagine an 8lb+! But, yes I do fish in the snow.... ?

Got my third ever DD this week, a healthy bug eyed 10lb 12oz beast! She was 25.5" L × 20" G and she anchored a 37lb 4oz bag I had that day. I also had a 8lb 12oz, 7lb 8oz, 6lb 4oz and a 4lb. Watched her swim away alive and well, man it's an awesome feeling watching the giants go!

Haha. I'm ordering a 2022 Ranger Z520R when they're released next week at the Classic and hopefully I can get my hands on a Humminbird LIVE to put on it by the time the boat is built. I looked very very hard at Vexus and it was my 2nd choice, but I don't like the layout of the VX20. The VX21 won't fit in my garage, so it was out of the running.I hope you're correct! We'll see in a week...Hope it gets fixed for you without anymore issues. I noticed zero quality differences between my "Pre-Johnny Morris" 2009 Z520 and my current "Johnny Morris" 2018 Z520L. Imo Ranger is still the "golden standard" in bass boats, like the NRX is in bass rods. I plan on ordering a 2022 Z520R in a couple weeks after they're released at the Classic.She is an elusive beast for sure... I've heard of three caught this year already that were 7lb+, I know they're in there! Good luck!Pure insanity!!! On day 3 I caught 15 smallies that were 5lb+!!! Had (3) separate 25lb+ bags of smallies in one day!My annual St. Clair trip is in the books, man what a trip! My best trip there in 15 years. In the 10 days I caught fifty (yes 50) smallies that were 5lb or bigger! Five of those were 6lb or bigger, including my new smallie PB of 6lb 8oz in the pic! She was 21.5"L × 17.5"G. I was able to catch at least one 5lb+ smallie each of the 10 days. I also broke my PB bag of smallies twice with a 28lb 8oz bag on day 2 and a 29lb bag on day 3! 6 out of the 10 days I had over 25lbs for my best 5 smallies! All were weighed on an IGFA certified BogaGrip 15lb scale. Day by day breakdown and more pics on my IG.
I've got ten of the 2020 Metaniums, all of which are paired with Shimano/G.Loomis Conquest rods. They're a pleasure to fish with and make my fishing experience that much more enjoyable.
