  1. The Chaser is 16" and 22oz. I have a bunch of mom's, but can't imagine tossing the chaser that is double the weight of a mom all day long... Good luck OP and would love to see a C2C video on your chaser........!
  2. It's a west coast swimbait thing. I just had five custom F5 swimbait rods built, all traditional wrapped, not acid/spiral. As said above by @georgeyew bass don't pull hard enough or for long enough imo to warrant the use of spiral wrapping. Saltwater fish on the other hand are another story.... Good luck
  3. @Jaderose I'm not biting you and yep I love my four Stella 3000 FJ's and no I didn't pay full retail for em' And if you ever use a Stella, you'll want to use that trusty President of yours as a paper weight on your office desk.............
  4. Same here! Zero issues so far with mine...
  5. Yes. (4) 2018 Stella FJ 3000's w/842S Conquest's (4) 2020 Metanium XG's w/903C Conquest's (4) 2020 Metanium XG's w/904C Conquest's (4) 2018 Calcutta Conquest 400A's w/F5 custom swimbait 907's
  6. Love my Conquests, they're very versatile with their MBR tapers. All my spinning models are 842S's. I tried a 3 power spinning, too stiff for me, but I rarely throw anything bigger than 3/8oz - 1/2oz on a spinning rod. Good luck.
  7. Same here. 7lb+ for largemouth, 5lb+ for smallie
  8. Yep, it's over. Had zero issues out of my current G2 and previous 2009 250HO, but looks like my next motor when I upgrade boats in 2028 will be a Merc...
  9. Thanks. No, not MVT blank. Thanks! I love the long handle, I tuck it under my armpit. I'm 6'4" / 255lb and have long arms.
  10. Thanks. All are moderate/fast action (1) XH 8'6" 5oz-12oz (1) H 8"6" 3oz-8oz (3) H 8'3" 3oz-8oz
  11. Just got my five F5 custom swimbait rods in and wow.... Big shout out to Brad at F5 Custom Rods, the rods are stunning and flawless! Anyone looking for a swimbait rod you need to get with Brad at F5! Got them paired up with Calcutta Conquest 400A's and now just have to get them out and put them to the test!
  12. I was able to get up there 5-4 through 5-12 and flat wore them out. Had (2) 6lb+ and (26) 5lb+ in the nine days of fishing. Had *** of the 5lb+ in one day, with a 27lb bag, 25lb bag and a 22lb bag all by myself. Was a day for the memory books for sure. Last several years I don't even take a pic unless they are 5lb+. Been going up there for 10+ years every spring and this past trip was one of the best trips I've had to date. I didn't break my PB bag there of 27lb 12oz or get the 7lb+ unicorn I've been after, but it was the best trip for overall numbers of quality fish that were 4lb+. Water was clear and 48-53 degrees while I was there and they were chewin'! You Michiganders are lucky to have LSC in your back yard! Pics are on my IG (link in my BR user profile)
  13. I got all XG's because I've always used high gear ratio reels and I'm comfortable with them. The reel never locked up at any time and the drag was smooth as butter. Zero issues for me casting into the wind, etc.
  14. Yep, can't wait! Glad the ban was lifted, this was going to be the first year in 10+ years I wasn't going to be able to make my annual spring trip to LSC! Looking forward to my 9 solo days of sun up to sun down smallie fishin'! Goal is to break my PB bag of smallies there, 27lb 12oz and/or catch a 7lb+.
  15. Nope, way too far of a boat drive especially if it gets nasty.
