Bass Boat Seats
Could you offer an explanation as to why they are $200 more than the Bass Boat Seats? I also need the center seat as a fold down as well as the two bucket seats to have the seat cushions flip forward while the back rests stay in place. Thats the set up that works best in my boat

Bass Boat Seats
Looking to replace the seats on my aluminum rig in the next month and I found the after market seats made my Bass Boat Seats. They seem to be very high quality and at a reasonable price for what they are. Anybody have experience with them? Free shipping to my door and free shipping back should I need to return them is a bonus too

Im on the suburb side of the main line, its about a 30 minute drive till Im in the thick of it. Phillies will be a come from behind this season, just watch!

Sounds Like Ranger Will Not Be Building A 522C
Jeez way to jump all over me like I was putting somebody down. My question was a serious one which has yet to be answered. What advantage does that boat give you over a 521? A 522 with a 300 on the back will probably run the same speed or remotely close to the same as that of the 520 with a 250. (521's are slower). Honestly, what would you do with that much space. When you can put your extended family under the deck of a 521 what more do you want in terms of storage? If rough water is that big of a deal the larger v bottoms seems a better route. I'm asking an honest question as to why someone would want that boat over a 520 or 521. Not putting anyone down on their choices. Honestly, if I had the coin I would be in a Phoenix or a Basscat, but guess what, I dont.

How Are Fish Released At The Classic And Other Multiple Day Tournaments?
Not sure about BASS but FLW puts them all on pontoon boats and takes them out into open water and releases them all. Also no fishing is permitted within that area

Trokar Hooks
yup. same one. The hook itself is great, its the keeper which they put on there which makes it completely useless
-
Trokar Hooks
Its so bad that its unusable. There are two straight shank flipping/punching hooks that I will use and they are the Paychecks and the Trokars. The Gammy bait collar literally just slides up and down the shank, being completely useless
- Ram Mount Vent!!

Trokar Hooks
The flippin straight shank hook by Gammy easily has the worst bait collar on the market hands down

Who Is Going To Win The Classic??
I am rooting for Pete Gluszek though. Local guy who I have fished next too many times. Come on Pete!!

Who Is Going To Win The Classic??
Agreed! And with water temps where they are, it looks like it may be shaping up to be a good jerkbait bite but who knows right? haha

Compartment Lighting
So you mean run everything like you would normally, but put the magnetic switch somewhere along the neg wire leading from each light? Yes, you could do that. But you would have to make sure that they are each run independent. Splice or T-Tap connect into the main wire and then on the loop you added put the magnetic switch. If you dont do this then none of your lights will work unless every compartment is open. Also, this prevents one bad connection from turning off all your lights like a bad bulb in christmas lights

Compartment Lighting
I added Blue water Leds to my boat and ran them to a switch on the console. Absolutely love them. I do think its a bad idea to run them on the magnetic switches. If a switch goes bad and stays on all the time and you dont realize it, it could really screw you.

Been poking around a bunch of forums for a while, this one definitely seems to have the best following in terms of strictly bass. Im from SE Pennsylvania, fish the flats a lot as well as lots of lakes up in NY. Heading to Okeechobee in a month. Im 20, and have been fishing tournaments for a while now, normally about 20-25 per year with some money here and there coming in. Favorite techniques: Drop Shot, Crankbaits, Spinnerbaits Tubes Biggest Bag this past year: 22 lbs My name is Ben by the way! Cheers to a new bass season once this freakin weather straightens itself out and stops going from 60 degrees to 15 and snowing the next day

What Tool For Snaking A Transducer Cable?
I completely agree with what you said. Anytime you are dealing with electrical wires you have to be careful. In my instance though, I went in under the console, ran about 3 feet through openness past the throttle and seats, then popped out on the rear deck where I had pulled the panel off to access the foam filled cavity which the wires ran through. From here I could actually see that the transducer cable which WAS there had been pinched and was laying there wide open. I then took the string, tied it to the new wire and snaked it right through. If you hit an area you cannot get it through, do NOT yank or pull on it. Remember its a $80 wire in essence and if it gets stuck, most likely its not coming through no matter how much you tug on it. Just take your time, be patient and it will come through. Trust me, Ive been through all the aggravation and I ended up getting lucky but its a learning experience. Youll quickly learn how little space is left over in a bass boat for everything besides your compartments

What Tool For Snaking A Transducer Cable?
I used my old transducer cable. Tied a tiny piece of string to it then electrical taped it on so it wouldnt get caught, then once i had my cable pulled out i had a string running the whole length. I did this from the console to rear deck, and rear deck to battery compartment. (I pulled up the one board on my rear deck so I could access all the wires because of how tight it was)

How Much Does Your State Resident Permit Cost?
yes and no so be careful. Yes, everybody and anybody that comes on the boat is allowed to fish. No because each person who is on the boat fishing also needs to have a saltwater registration (free on the Maryland DNR website). They do this because of how many stripers come up onto the flats to spawn As long as each person on the boat has that saltwater registration you are good to go.

How Much Does Your State Resident Permit Cost?
Pennsylvania was stated earlier. 22.70 base license with another 10 for a trout stamp. Then each year I get a non resident New York license for smallie fishing the adirondacks, and a $50 sport fishing boat decal with the chesapeake, plus a $30 PA US army corp parking pass (otherwise its $3 per day to park). Launch fees at the marinas are the only things I have to pay for after I get all licensed up!

Handmade Vs Mass Produced
What bait companies use the new additive if you dont mind me asking? Thats been the number one complaint about knockoff senko users is that they just dont shimmy "the same" as the original. If another company comes out with one that is as supple and has the same action with a higher durability, GYCB should watch out.

Luck-E-Strike Stx Jerkbait
If your upgrading the split rings and you want your bait to suspend, Ill usually swap them with the Owner split rings and go one size lower. They are a lot beefier and stronger, something like 30 lb test or something in their smaller split rings, but going down in size stops the weight from going up. Sometimes the same can be said in hooks, sometimes different. Best thing to do is just experiment with them. Take a box of split rings and hooks to a pond one day and swap them out until you get it right. If you find a combo that you really like but it tends to float up just a bit while the water is cold, it should suspend more as the water temp rises, but you could also use suspendots if you want to keep it weighted for that water temp. Its a painful process, similar to tuning crankbaits, but once you get them dialed in they tend to be lights out
