  1. There was a post earlier this year from a board member. I can't remember his name, but he bought a few. Try and do a search?
  2. Bomber Crankbaits, and generic brand spinnerbaits.
  3. Hell yes, this one pond that gets tons and tons of pressure. I always go finesse: Dropshot and Splitshot always catches.
  4. What I was trying to get at, is he posted he wanted guys who "fished" both rods. It sounds like you haven't. All you're stating are talking points.
  5. All of my arsenal.
  6. That is what I was looking for. Disappointed.
  7. I've had this issue and I never broke a rod yet.....*KNOCK ON WOOD* I baby my rods more than my children.
  8. Just because it is rated lower doesn't mean it isn't some type of new manufacturing process/technology that could outclass the Savvy still.
  9. Too many dream combos to choose from, can't afford them just yet. However, I'm happy with what I have and in fact I like my new Carbonlite BPS PQ combos. Going to take them with me on my FL trip next week!
  10. If you're talking just store brand, BPS Pro Qualifier definitely for $100. The Johnny Morris Carbonlite reel gets decent reviews too. (Currently on sale online $140). Other than that they carry Shimano, Abu Garcia, Daiwa...take your pick.
  11. Anything a MH rod can do but lighter.
  12. Performance is more important than appearance. Having said that though, with all the choices available to us anglers you should be able to in most cases get both. I try my best to make them match.
  13. Awesome man, congrats!
  14. Still not as blasphemy as a Shimano and Daiwa setup!
  15. Awesome man! My season doesn't start until end of June.
  16. I've seen people use it for pitching into heavy cover (50 size reels). No worries.
  17. 50 sized reels, Pure. Awesome.
  18. Good to hear you found a brand you like!
  19. My vote goes to Carbonlite or Veritas.
  20. Sweet, another good catch.
  21. Before buying my first Carbonlite, I would've said Veritas...but the Carbonlite kicks butt in this category imo.
